Honored is as Honered Does

very-inspirational-blogger11Fiction Favorites has been nominated by Stories Are Forever – Mary Meddlemore for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award.  Her blog can be at http://marymeddlemore1.wordpress.com.   I want to thank Mary for this nomination and have enjoyed her writings or those of her puppet very much.

The rules for The Very Inspiring Blog Award

The rules are to thank and link back to the blogger that has nominated you, then post the award logo to your blog, write a post on the nomination and nominate 15 other very inspiring bloggers, notify them and then tell them 7 things about yourself.

1. I have begun writing full-time as of April 2012

2. I live on a barrier island off the South Texas coast

3.  I love to walk my Silky Terrier, Boxer and grand dog Boxer on the beach

4. I am interested in fictional stories that cause one to think hard

5. I have a 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser that needs repair constantly

6. I have finished two thriller fiction novels of over 92,000 words each and am working on a third

7.  I am looking for an agent and publisher

Here are the people who I nominate for The Very Inspiring Award. I began Fiction Favorites in October and have been very impressed on how your blogs have inspired me to do better work.  Thank you

  1. John,
Thank you for the nomination. I am suitably humbled.
Dyslexic bloggers of the world untie! You have nothing to lose but your cahins!
Looking forward to catching up with you on Twitter soon. #TBSU Rules!
I need some time to recover before I do another blog award post, so please bear with me … 🙂

    1. Take all the time in the world. (I now know what you mean)

  2. Wow, John. I am just happy to read your blog and now you’re giving me stuff 🙂 That’s pretty amazing. I am very humbled and honored. I just want to thank you so much for stopping by and reading my crazy stories. I feel lucky just to meet lots of cool people. Life is good. Congrats to you. Your award is well-deserved, of course. Thank you!

    1. I am a big fan of your blog. I am constantly learning from other writers and you have taught me to loosen up and write it as I feel it. A big lesson. Thanks and keep it up!

      1. Sigh. That’s really nice. Thank you. 🙂

  3. Thank you so much, John, for nominating my blog. I am honored that you found its contents worthy to be considered.

    1. Thank you for your good work. I share your enthusiasm for the written word (not to mention the septuagenarian part)

  4. Congratulations on your nomination, and thank you for naming me. I’m delighted to be nominated for an inspiring blog award. It’s nice to know that the work I put into my posts does not go unnoticed.

    1. I began following your posts when I first started blogging and look forward to each. Trust me, unnoticed is not in your issue.

Thank you for the honor in giving me such award! I am very glad to be included in the list of people who have inspired you. But I think it is the other way around. You are now on your third novel, while I haven’t started mine. In fact, I am far from it. You inspire me!

I have recently formally accepted a nomination from another blogger, but would still love to accept this.

    1. You are too kind in your comment. As far as the other acceptance is concerned it is very okay. Congratulations!

Thank you so much and happy holidays!

  6. Thankyou for the nomination! This is the first time I’ve put my writing ‘out there’ so to speak and the fact that you considered my stuff good enough for something like this is very encouraging.
Also, if my blog is inspiring, yours is doubly so! Thanks once again!
