Melissa Janda or as she is known on WordPress; http://melissajanda.wordpress.com has nominated me for the for the Wonderful Team Membership Readership Award. I want to thank Melissa for thinking of my blog in such nice terms. Her blog is always worth visiting as she tends to some pretty thought provoking subjects. Her Gravatar is very uplifting as well. She has a nice smile and looks like someone who would really listen to your problems. Go visit and you will see what I mean.
The title of the award; Wonderful Team Membership Readership Award just begs for some comment. The word wonderful certainly conjures up nice thoughts about what is being described. Who can ever argue that the word team doesn’t offer a sense of inclusiveness and belonging? Membership is something all people with basic affiliation needs want to be part. Readership is what we all strive to achieve. We write, they read. So, although it is a mouthful, maybe the award comes down to something nice that is an expression of trying to include folks in a worthwhile endeavor. I like that and I accept. Here are the rules:
1. Display the Wonderful Team Member Readership Award logo on his/her blog.
2. Nominate 14 readers they appreciate over a period of 7 days, all at once or little by little, as most convenient to the nominee.
3. Name the Wonderful Team Member Readership Award nominees on a post or post(s).
Okay, one thing I did not do is go back and check to see if these nominees have been nominated before. These are blog sites I really enjoy.
