Today is a little overcast but promises to be more sunshine and a high near eighty degrees. The tire marks are as a result of the gathering of our residents for a fire on the beach. As you can see, I managed to put a poll together. This photo will be the last photo of the Gulf if the votes swing toward something different. Next week is the fifty-two-week mark for this feature. I hope to have a composite slide show built which will be published here and then moved to the sidebar. You will be able to access the results of the poll after your vote.
Last week’s photo.
I do like the concept of a view devloping over time…

This is an intriguing photo, John. It’s like the small space between the inhale and the exhale of breath.
Now the poll… Personally I think you deserve a day off (it seems like you’re one extremely hard working blogger) — but since I don’t think you’d do that, I didn’t vote that option.
I agree with Jill that I’ve enjoyed and look forward to these pictures of the gulf.
But after a full year, I imagine you’re tired of this project.
So I voted the second option BUT — what I’m thinking is *keep the photo somewhere in your neighborhood.* So 52 views of the community… The dogs being walked, the bird on the road sign, maybe even take us on the ferry with you. That kind of thing. Maybe? Heck, you’re good at this. Go with what feels right.
Enjoy your holiday. Mega hugs.

Thank you for the insight Teagan. I think your suggestion sounds like fun. Of course, snapping a picture of the Gulf is a lot easier than hunting down other “targets.” I like your idea though. Enjoy as well. BIG HUG

The question I put out there is what do you enjoy doing more than taking pictures of the same view? 😀 😀 😀 Just saying since you’ll be carrying on for a whole year again.

John, I agree with Teagan! I voted for # 2. Don’t think you’ll take Sunday off! Might be a good idea, a day off once in a while! Happy Easter! 💛 Elizabeth

This was a really cool project, but I can see it ending this way. I voted for a different photo feature, but even that didn’t feel right. You ought to do what inspires you. Maybe that changes from time to time.

Thanks, Craig. I think I will do some photos around the place and see what happens. The slide show is quite cool. Now if I can figure out how to embed it in a post.

Thanks Hook but it looks like the vote is to take more pictures of different things. One even named it “52 Views of the Neighborhood.”

John, I sooo love seeing the gulf, but I voted for the second option. I imagine 52 photos — some on grey, rainy days — must have gotten boring to you, and I don’t want to see you bored! Because I have no doubts that you’re trying to keep writing regularly (and won’t take Sundays off!), I just lean toward changing things up once in a while. But do keep the Sunday photos somewhere, okay?? Happy Easter to you!
