The work week is drawing to a close. I don’t know about you but this week seemed pretty calm all things considered. Maybe it was the lack of debate drama but things were at a reasonable pace.
I finally got into some serious editing of my next book titled Circumstances of Childhood. It is a story about Greg Petros who becomes a successful professional football player and then a wealthy equity fund manager. His life is picture-perfect with two kids and a loving wife until a routine audit of the fund discovers twenty million dollars is missing.
The forensic accounting investigation confirms that the missing funds were transferred out using Greg’s computer. After an extensive search on his own, Greg discovers who took the money and why. For circumstances relating to his childhood, he cannot tell the police what he knows but must take matters into his own hands. He now must eliminate the threat to his family and recover the stolen funds while keeping the truth from the authorities.
Today’s JohnKu talks to having the time to do things you enjoy like editing.

Life takes on tornado traits . . .
Enjoy peaceful days.
One of the blessings of age…peaceful days. Thank you for the reminder… 🙂

Good post, John. The new book sounds like a winner. I thought it was a quiet week also until I saw on TV the plane carrying Trump’s Vice Presidential candidate slid off the runway (no injuries). I then heard some Trump followers are threatening to cause trouble if he doesn’t win. It’s always something. I, along with I’m sure many others, will be glad when November 8th is over and done with. 🙂 — Suzanne

I agree. Every time a thought of peace comes into the mind, November 8th is like a rock through a plate glass window. Happy weekend. 🙂

Thank you, John. My life has been pretty stormy. I need to take the time to drop out and work quietly on revising my manuscript. Happy to hear that your life was peaceful enough to get some serious editing done.
Have a great weekend.

I love the premise of your new book, John! For me, it’s been a long and tiring week. I’m looking forward to two day off…from the day job, not the writing. 🙂 Happy Weekend!

Sounds like a cool story. Was this a drama free week? Feel like I missed that memo. 😛

It was supposed to be. Oh, I just checked and you are right, you were left off.

For the best. It’d suck to be on the list and get the drama anyway. Like ordering Kung Po Chicken and getting an oddly shaped taco instead. (This can happen if you have a Chinese Take Out Place next to a Taco Bell and you send someone out to get food from both.)

Ha ha ha. Won’t happen here. We don’t have a taco bell. The only Chinese restaurant went belly up.

With the new release, my workweek has been busier than usual. Tons of interviews and guest posts airing on the blog tour the Publicist is doing. I want to host my own blog tour…so there will be more work to come. All of it is fun, even if hard work.
Looking forward to another novel from you. I have some catching up to do! You prolific writers amaze me with your dedication and progress. I want to be just like you when I grow up.
