Friday JohnKu – AKA – TGIF

Friday

Another week is about to go into history. Friday is the measure of our lives it seems. We all look forward to it even if we are not chained to a full-time job. Friday has a sense of accomplishment attached to it that no other day can share. I think if Friday were an animal it would be a trumpeting elephant announcing its presence to the world.  Friday crashes through trees and lets nothing get in the way. In short, Friday is awesome. Today’s JohnKu does not try to hide the idea of a boisterous Friday. I hope you like it and congratulations on making it this far.  Oh, and by the way, His Revenge will be on sale for $0.99 starting December 8th through Sunday, December 11th in the US and the UK. (£0.99). I will say more as we get closer.

Friday by John W. Howell

No way to silence,

The obvious arrival. . .

Of our revered pal.

Another great JohnKu! I especially like your description of Fridays…I’ve never thought of Friday in those terms, but you are so right, “Friday has a sense of accomplishment attached to it that no other day can share.” Perfect!

    1. Thank you, Gwen. I would like to give each day of the week an animal and a mood. For example Monday would be a swamp rat and an overwhelming inferiority complex. 🙂

  5. Gird your loins well in preparation for the epic battle to release the imprisoned wine. You may have to find a new receptacle to hold it once free. Be prepared.

  8. I’d never thought of Friday as a trumpeting elephant before, but it fits!! There’s something magical about “surviving” an entire week of work. Love the JohnKu — and best wishes for the book’s promotion!

      1. As a wine-hero (erm… that goes with wino a little too well…) I think I’m on the way to super hero status! o_O Hmmm now I need a superhero name… the Spumante Siren? Super Shiraz? The Cabernet Cavalier? Oh well, whatever it is, as long as I don’t have to run…

      1. No idea, but one of your other commenters seems to have had the same issue. It happened to me once before on your blog, then was fine for a long time. At least with me being on Facebook, I still catch them.
