Friday JohnKu – AKA – TGIF

TGIF

Friday is here (almost). I hope your week was full of the kind of activity that you enjoy. It makes the week go so well when you are doing things that get you to smile. My week was pretty much spent with more editing. I have a May 1st deadline and looks like I’m going to have to hump a bit to make it. The beautiful thing about deadlines is they tend to get you into high gear. Of course without deadlines life would be too comfortable and who wants that situation. (Okay maybe we all do.)

Today’s JohnKu is about deadlines, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

We set them ourselves,

Then tend to get serious . . .

Only at the end.

I adore the puppy! Charles’ point is so true, goals and deadlines are “the bane and a driving force of our existence.” 🙂

  9. Good luck John. I have every faith in you. 😀
A director here at work once said that deadlines were (treated as) only a vague suggestion… So imagine my trials and tribulations as editor, trying to collect submissions. LOL
    TGIF for sure! Mega hugs.

  14. As much as I hate deadlines and have bemoaned them time and time again, I feel strange when I don’t have one. They are a double-edged sword bringing both stress and production. I hope you have more of the latter than the former with yours, John!

    1. Yes I hope production is the word of the day. Made some great strides this week. I think I’m going to live after all.

  15. I relate my inability to pack days before travel, leaving myself just enough time to panic at the end and curse my procrastination. Happy weekend, John
