“Hi, Boss.”
“Well, hello, Lucy. What can I do for you?
“Baily and I are a little worried.”
“I see that. What’s the problem?
“Empty desk boss. Empty desk.”
“You know I can’t sit there 24/7.”
“As a spokesperson for the non-humans, I want to make sure people outside the house know you write books.”
“You know last week you got several cute hits. I’m wondering if you can continue to milk it.”
“We actually have a vested interest in your success.”
“So what do you recommend?”
“Throw up a couple of cover pictures and then ask everyone to buy a copy.”
“If only it were that easy.”
“Okay I’ll put up the covers and links, but that’s it.”
“You are a mensch.”
Love the dogs! They’re the best clickbait!

Nothing like an old fart trolling the beach with a couple of dogs to bring ’em running. I’ll leave that to you younger fellows. Thanks, Phil. 😀

I said click bait, not chick bait. But I suppose that dogs are good for both

Yeah I see that now. Thanks for the compliment. 🙂

Smart dogs. Now if only they could sneak into the covers, you’d be rich. 😜

Nice one, John. I dread to think what my dogs would say, were they able to speak our language. I think the ‘F’ word would feature a lot. No, not that one – food.

Yes food is their favorite word in any language. Thanks, Keith.

I think Lucy and Bailey make excellent spokesdoggies for your writing. Look at those faces–who could resist!
BTW, that’s a gorgeous work-space you’ve got there with all those windows, doors and views!

An excellent post, good sir! I love your workspace too! Mine is in the basement – nice office, but DARK! On gorgeous days like today, I get to work on my laptop on the deck outside. “Hangin Out with Lucy & Bailey” – a great new feature!

I agree with John, John. 😀 I enjoy all your features, but more from Bailey and Lucy would be fun. Just be sure to keep Story Day and the Sunday stroll around the neighborhood! Mega hugs.

Wonderful post. Sometimes we talk to them more than anyone else. Surprised I didn’t think of something like this myself.

I should make some of those dog shaming images. The ones where the sign says, “I ate dad’s…”

Oh, I understand completely! I have a cat that I can’t control but love him dearly. Franklin gets into everything. This morning I found him poking his head out of the dryer 🙂

Ha ha ha. I had a cat named Frank (RIP) who was the same way. His sister Stella is not quite as brave.
