As you know, I would normally have a Top Ten list which contains tongue in cheek advice on how to behave under certain circumstances.
Today I only have one thing on the list that I could repeat ten times (but I won’t).
On Memorial Day, do not go through the day without remembering those who gave their lives so that we can continue to celebrate such a beautiful remembrance.
Here is wishing you a peaceful day filled with gratitude.

That is GREAT advice for people. I wish fewer people thought it was all about the BBQ..
BTW: I love the picture of the cloud, and love to create images in my mind that I see formed by clouds. When I first saw it, I laughed. Did you know it looks like a man from the back who is on a “throne” reading a well-lighted celestial book and rain is hitting the Earth underneath?
We writers have too much active imagination. Either that, or clouds are God’s Rorschach tests. 🙂

As I’ve already said on other blogs: as a German born 2 years after WWII, I’ve always been and will always be grateful to those heroes that gave their lives so that I could grow up and live in freedom.

Beautifully said… as I wrote on Michelle´s blog (reblog of this post): sometimes reasons do not follow a hierarchy order… And a good reason sums up all the reasons.
