Friday John Ku – AKA – TGIF

Glad to see Friday roll around. It has been a busy week filled with some activities. Circumstances of Childhood (My next) has been fully edited and proofed. It now needs formatting and then will be ready to go.  I wrote to my cover artist about the cover but did not get a response. This is very unusual, so I’ll have to follow through and make certain she got the e-mail. When launch time comes, I will be asking for help. I will publish a separate, and if you would like to be part of the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up. It looks like a mid-September launch if I can get a cover.

It is always amazing to me how many things can go south in the preparation process for publishing a book. It might be better not to have a target date and just do it when it is ready. Ah, what fun would that be? Today’s JohnKu talks about publishing. I hope you have a great weekend.

Brilliant synonym, John! My feelings exactly. Good luck with the rest of the book process. You can sign me up to host you when the time comes 🙂 Right now, it’s so dark and the weather horrid that I just want to have a PJ day, lols. Feels more like mid-winter … ah well, the weekend awaits 🙂

    1. Ah, a PJ day. I would do that very thing. A little fire, a cuppa and you’re good to go.

  9. Wait. There are things that don’t go south when preparing for a book release? Why didn’t anybody tell me about this possibility?

I’m sure the bulk of readers have no idea all of the work that goes into a book–in addition to the actual writing!

Looking forward to the release, John. I’ll be happy to help with the tour when the time comes.
