Friday – JohnKu – TGIF

TGIF

It is Friday already. My, what a rushed week. At least it seems that way to me. I finished the formatting on Circumstances of Childhood. The next project was to get a cover that would work. We are finally close to that cover, and I hope to give you a look next week sometime. After that, it is a matter of putting the book up on CreateSpace and Kindle.

Before hitting publish, I need to decide on the announcement plans. I know I want to do a tour. I also want to do a few ads but need to figure out when and where. I guess I will have this sorted out by next week. I think the October 1st date will be a go.

I will be sending out my call for volunteers shortly. In the meantime, today’s JohnKu talks about how it takes a village to launch a book. I hope you have a super weekend.

  3. I can understand how that would be true, John. I love the advice at the top especially after the news alerts we’ve had this week. Sometimes I wish I was a drinker. 😀 — Suzanne

  6. You are a whirlwind of productivity, John.
I envy you; I can barely get up these days, never mind write.
The only thing (besides my family) I get animated about is the short script I’ve written for a video version of the blog. But I can’t seem to get that off the ground.
    Have a good weekend, buddy.

    1. I look at it this way. I write as an end to itself. Then all of a sudden I have a book done. It is a mind game I play with my self.

  10. Great JohnKu, and so true. It’s great that we have help within the author community.
I’ll be answering your call for volunteers.
As an FYI, I’ve also found Facebook (targeted) Ads to be beneficial.I run one with every book launch I do.

      1. Use the Power Editor for the best results (You’ll find it under the Ad Manager). I’m not an expert, but I’ve had some good results, especially when I run ads for .99c sales. You have my email if you have questions!
