Friday JohnKu – AKA – TGIF

Another Friday is upon us and also the last month of 2017. I guess the all-time cliché would be the question, “Where did the time go?” Seriously though. It seems like well, yesterday that it was the new year. Here we are, now on the cusp of 2018. I’m telling you this ski ride downhill has got to be slowed down.

Spent the week in final edits on The Contract which is a collaboration with Gwen Plano.

We will be entering the beta reader stage but more about that early next week.

Today’s JohnKu talks to the fact that time seems to fly. I hope you have a great weekend.

Time flies so they say,

When you’re having fun, they say. . .

Time flies fun or not.

Yep, time seems to speed up with advanced age. 😀 Great JohnKu!

    1. Thanks, Gwen. I don’t mind the passing of time it is the acceleration factor that gets me. 😀

    1. He is one of my favorite cartoon characters. Not sure why. Maybe I’ve tried so many things to catch the roadrunner of life I feel we have a lot in common. Thanks, Suzanne. Have a great weekend as well.

  4. Good question. This year seemed to go . . . Is it snowing on your blog?

    1. Yup. Every December one it starts. There is a setting in dashboard which you can go to. I leave mine set on an annual basis. 😀

      2. It is there. You can’t see it unless you are on your site.

      4. Or it’s going to start up as soon as I send the last comment. That was weird.

  5. Agreed. This week and the year for that matter went rather quickly. If so many agree, is time really speeding up or are we all just too busy to see it fly by?

  6. This is the first Friday I’ve had to work in many weeks. I want this day to speed up until about 3:00, then time can go as slow as it wants.

    1. Hopefully it will go like the wind. I guess your fiscal year ends without a lot of hassle. I remember ours was like the end of the world. Debits, credits, carryovers, sales goals, and shipping cut offs. Usually late work day on December 31. Have s super weekend.

      1. Ours is mostly automated. Unfortunately, I am responsible for those systems. Let’s hope nothing spooky got into the numbers. I think that’s an accounting term.
