“Hey, Lucy, Bailey, Twiggy bring it in.”
“Wha’s the deal, Lucy.”
“Beats me.”
“Know what’s going on Bailey.”
“Nope, I just come when I’m called.”
“Uh, Bailey?”
“Hold on Pops. I need a gulp here.”
“Lucy, Twiggy?”
“Yes, Boss. All ears.”
“I can hear from here, Dad.”
“Okay then. As you can see I’m back at it. So how about some action shots for the blog.”
“Brother. We have to play this one right.”
“What should we do, Lucy?”
“Break up and give him something to shoot.”
“Okay. I’m doing my grazing sheep imitation.”
“Not sure that’s going to cut it, Twiggy.”
“Hey, Y’all. How about some action.”
“Try not to look at the camera, Twiggy. It’s more natural that way.”
“Thanks, Bailey. Hows this Dad?”
“Can you at least look at each other?”
“It is so hot Pops. Maybe later.”
“And the mountain sheep goes about its business, mindful of the threat posed by the mottled mountain lion who seems disinterested.”
“You kill me, Twiggy. How about it Pops you have enough?”
“Pops? Where did he go? Twiggy.”
“I don’t think he liked my mountain sheep performance.”
“Well, maybe next week. Where’s Lucy?”
“She followed him in. He was mumbling about an inside shot.”
Glad you’re back in the game, Pops. Lovely to see Lucy, Bailey and Twiggy playing. Hugs for you all. Xx

Twiggy was working it, John, but I think you have to offer more motivation. How about a treat?
In any case, it’s good to see you back out playing the role of shepherd.to this crew.

I was going to call her a lowland piggy but she didn’t like that. Thanks, Jan.

John,
Twiggy has a great energy in front of the camera. I’m certain that with the help and guidance of her two veteran actors, she is going to be a big star. Oh wait . . she already is!
Great stuff Boss. So good to see you on the move!

So glad you’re back at it, John. And I love the “action” shots. I bet later that day you were telling them to settle down but they kept tearing around the house.
No, wait. That’s me and my dogs. Yours are probably better behaved.
Anyway, thrilled to see you getting back to your regular schedule!

They do a tear around now and then as well.

Man, just watching those dogs stand up and move around tired me out completely. I don’t know how they do it. Talk about stress! I’ll have to rest all week to work up the strength for next Thursday….. 🙂

Love the shot of Lucy and Twiggy murmuring sweet nothings in Bailey’s ear. And, I love the fact that you were out there recording it. Happy normal-ish!

Nice to get so much cooperation after you’ve been on hiatus, John. And I’m still laughing over this one: “And the mountain sheep goes about its business, mindful of the threat posed by the mottled mountain lion who seems disinterested.” Doesn’t look like you’ll have to put up with Gordon — there’s a plus, right?!

Yes, Gordon is long gone. Thank you, Debbie.

Nice to see you back in action with the girls! I can just see you calling the shots from the porch. Oh, but you were out in the yard too. They seemed to corporate and manage to look natural. Stay cool!

John, you made me snort with the SAG comment to Dan. LOL. It’s been too hot here for fun & games too. If it would just cool down at night, it would help. A little better today though, yet here I am in Mordor. Thanks for a delightful morning break. Hugs.

At least we know the heat won’t last forever. Thanks, Teagan. Hugs (Wait is that allowed at work?)

Glad you’re back at it, John. The girls weren’t a big help, but the mountain goat and lion was pretty good. They’re the best!

Thank you, Jennie. Since these guys are “method” actors I guess my motivation techniques were a little sparse.

Great stuff, John,
‘Twould appear they are working the slo-mo action for the day – so that Pops can not overdue it… brilliant kids, they are, deep down, don’t you think?
LikeLiked by 1 person
They are brilliant deep down. Also it was a sun bath shoot so they are not used to anything but a snooze.
