“Fe fi fo fum. I smell the blood of a Frenchie.”
“You are supposed to rhyme with fum. Like Englishman.”
“To really rhyme with fum I’d have to say Frenchie bum.”
“Aw, now that would not be nice.”
“Well I’m just sayin'”
“Have I shown you my latest wrestling hold? I call it the jaw lock.”
“Have you seen my latest? I call it the step over chokehold.”
“Yak. I can see it is a good one.”
“Say, Uncle.”
“Oh my gosh. What if I don’t say, Uncle?”
“I may have to give you a hug.”
“Okay then. I’ll Take the hug.”
“Why don’t you see what Bailey’s doing.”
“Good idea.”
“Hey, Bailey. What’s up?”
“Just finished a delicious breakfast, Little one. I was thinking of a nap.”
“Looks like a good day for it?”
“That’s what I was thinking.”
“You doing okay?”
“I feel great Little Stuff. Just need to get rested and build my strength.”
“Twiggy was right. It is a great day for a nap. In fact, I should be taking a sunbath outside.”
“You want to go out, Bailey?”
“Yes, Pops. Thanks.”
“Ah. Now we’re talking.”
Lovely story, John. Your three pups are so polite, which is quite the tribute to you and the producer. Enjoy the sunshine! 🙂

So right. BTW. I liked your suggestion about the Friday Fictioneers prompt. I didn’t reply cause I got real busy. Will look at that one as well. Thanks, GP

Every once in a while, I will catch Scooter with a flying power body-splash…..then I tell him to say, “Uncle”. Unfortunately, he has never been able to pronounce the word.
Poor Scooter [but he gets even by chewing my boots]

It’s so good to see Bailey back home, and good to read that she’s eating. She certainly looks content in that sunshine. As for the other two — well, what can I say? They’re like siblings of every species!

Oh my goodness, they are too cute!! I am so glad to see that someone else writes running commentary for their dog’s actions. I feel much more normal now 🙂 thoroughly enjoyed this.

Well, if you look to me as an example of normal I might suggest that I represent what could be considered abnormal (by the normal) which is a good thing. If you do running commintary for an animal you are also doing a good thing. Thanks, Kira and welcome back to blogging.

I tend to fall into the “abnormal” side of the spectrum more often than not. Which suits me just fine! Lol. Thanks John it’s good to be back 🙂

Bailey has the right idea … eat, enjoy the sun, take a snooze, and let the two waste their time on each other.
