Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Lucy On the Beach

Lucy and Twiggy on the Beach

“Lucy. What do you suppose is going on here?

“Humm. Looks like someone made some chairs.”

“I’m not sure, but this sand smells like that drink Dad has on Saturday.”

“Could be beer alright. This tree has ornaments on it. I think someone had one heck of a New Year’s Eve.”

“Lucy. What is mom saying?”

“She wants us to look at the Boss. He is taking a picture.”

“Okay, I have my best smile.”

“I always give it an intelligent look, Little One. Keeps them guessing.”

    1. Looks that way. Was after Christmas, though.

  2. The kids discovered an abandoned new years party; I hope the beer soaked sand didn’t ruin their beach time.

  6. I think that might have been a New Year’s Eve party I would have enjoyed. At least there wouldn’t have been the crowds!

I’ve never spent a New Years on the beach or brought my own tree! I love the last picture the girls took a great shot and did look very intelligent:)

  14. Lucy and Twiggy are looking fab, John!
Beach, bonfire, old Christmas tree, beer poured on sand… That sounds like a tame New Year’s Eve party. Are you sure you didn’t go through some kind of portal? I don’t think you were in Texas… Hugs!

  17. These two are just so precious, and I love Twiggy’s harness-thingy. Dallas, too, has to wear a harness when on a leash — Sheltie’s heads are way smaller than their necks, and if you don’t watch it, you’ll be walking an empty lead!
