Lucy and Twiggy

“Hey, you guys. you want to play with the bubbles?”

“You kidding? Of course.”

“Get ready cause here they come.”

“Lucy, Lucy. That one’s mine.”

“I just got mine.”

“Oh, Look. Another one.”

“Get it Little One.”

“Oof. That one is high.”

“Nice jump, Lucy.”

“Lucy, mine is too high for me.”

“I have to get mine before it hits the fence.”

“Get it, Lucy.”

“Trying Little Suff. Trying.”

“Jeez, Lucy. Watch out.”

“”You got to get a jump on these bubbles, Twiggy.”

“Just missed them.”

“I know me too.”

“Look one is laying there.”

“I got it.”

“Come to me my bubble.”

“I’ve got some more over here.”

“That was really fun, Dad.”

“Yes, Boss, it was very much fun.”

“Okay Ladies. How about some dinner?”

  1. And there was I, thinking Bubbles was a new friend for Twiggy.

    1. Ha haha. I originally had the headline “The Boss Plays with Bubbles.” but thought it sounded a little too questionable.

  2. Lucy and Twiggy looked like they were having so much fun. On Boxing Day we had a buubles for the children. One little 4 year old ( my Grandson) was trying to catch the bubbles with his mouth, it was so funny.

    1. Thank you, Ally. Of course, Lucy and Twiggy have only one way to catch them so your grandson is in good company.

  7. Pics of Twiggy looking up at the camera always crack me up … but oh do they love those bubbles. How often to they get this exercise treat?

    1. We do it about once a week. The bubbles are organic but still made of soap so we don’t want then to ingest too much.

      1. They may enjoy have Lawrence Welk’s theme song in the background. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44aRES6ztJw&list=RD44aRES6ztJw&start_radio=1

  9. I LOVE THIS!!

Lucy looks like a puppy when she’s chasing bubbles. And Twiggy does pretty good for herself considering the height disadvantage.

    1. She is pretty low to the road for sure. Her center of gravity keeps he from leaping too high. Thanks, Marc.

    1. They love their bubbles. When you bring out the bottle Lucy does a 360 turn in the air. That is before the first bubble.

  15. It never occurred to me that dogs would like bubbles, but why not? Chasing them’s not only good exercise, it’s a lot of fun, too — and this pair certainly does like their fun.

  16. I really need to do that again. It’s kind of a seasonal thing around here. I always wanted to make a Lisa poster of blowing bubbles. It doesn’t make sense when a robot doesn’t have lungs.

  19. This reminds me of when Domer was a wee lad and had loads of fun chasing bubbles during our warm months. I never thought to let Dallas try, but I bet he’d enjoy it as much as Lucy and Twiggy appear to. Thanks for the suggestion, John!

I didn’t know dogs would play with bubbles. My cats used to … until a bubble would pop and get a tiny drop of moisture on the cat… LOL
