Friday JohnKu – AKA – TGIF

TGIF

“Come on, Lucy it’s Friday. let’s jump up and down on the couch”
“You go ahead. I’ll keep an eye out.”

Another week has gone by the wayside. Is it me or does time fly? I guess it could be a combination of both. I have had one of those weeks where I had to sit back and try to figure out what I accomplished. It was kind of strange to receive a notice from Grammarly on Tuesday that since 2015 they have checked 4,570,914 words with 17,000 last week alone. I guess this would indicate I’m doing something. Wouldn’t it? *crickets*

Not to belabor the fact that time is flying by I decided to let this week’s JohnKu speak for how I feel. I hope you have a great weekend.

You look up one day,

And you notice time has passed . . .

Invested wisely?

    1. I wonder at the last minute if we really care on weather or not the time was well used or if it is a recognition of the generalization “It was a good life.” Sorry for the deep question this morning. Need more coffee. Thanks, Robbie. 😄

I’ve invested time and money and food and thoughts and still i don’t understand how my car works or what makes coffee essential.

    1. Ha haha, Geoff. There are mysteries of life that we are not supposed to understand but to accept. For instance a thermos bottle keeps hot things hot and cold things cold. The question is , “How does it know?”

  11. Sometimes, just being able to see that time has passed is enough. Some weeks are meant to be over. I like Twiggy’s grit.

  13. I don’t know that I’ve ever invested my time wisely. I’ve enjoyed my time, so maybe that counts.

    1. Yes. That was the intent of the question. If you can say you’ve enjoyed it then the investment was a good one. I could have used the word “spend,” but that had a consumption element that I wanted to avoid. Thanks, Craig.

I like that Twiggy has stairs — and learned to use them. I got some for a cat once, and he’d have nothing to do with them. But I think they were mostly too light weight. TGIF hugs!
