Another week has gone by the wayside. Is it me or does time fly? I guess it could be a combination of both. I have had one of those weeks where I had to sit back and try to figure out what I accomplished. It was kind of strange to receive a notice from Grammarly on Tuesday that since 2015 they have checked 4,570,914 words with 17,000 last week alone. I guess this would indicate I’m doing something. Wouldn’t it? *crickets*
Not to belabor the fact that time is flying by I decided to let this week’s JohnKu speak for how I feel. I hope you have a great weekend.

You look up one day,
And you notice time has passed . . .
Invested wisely?
That is pretty wonderful, John. We all try to use our time wisely, some succeed better than other.

I wonder at the last minute if we really care on weather or not the time was well used or if it is a recognition of the generalization “It was a good life.” Sorry for the deep question this morning. Need more coffee. Thanks, Robbie. 😄

Ah yes
I’ve invested time and money and food and thoughts and still i don’t understand how my car works or what makes coffee essential.

Ha haha, Geoff. There are mysteries of life that we are not supposed to understand but to accept. For instance a thermos bottle keeps hot things hot and cold things cold. The question is , “How does it know?”

I had a great-aunt named Rilla who was given to malapropisms. My mother picked them up, and to the day she died, Mom was fond of reminding me that Tempus fidgets. Indeed, it does, and so do we from time to time!

Sometimes, just being able to see that time has passed is enough. Some weeks are meant to be over. I like Twiggy’s grit.

I agree on the idea that some weeks/days need to be terminated. Thanks, Dan

Thank you for the comment, Mae. I guess I’m wondering if in fact my time was/is well spent. Hard to say.

I don’t know that I’ve ever invested my time wisely. I’ve enjoyed my time, so maybe that counts.

Yes. That was the intent of the question. If you can say you’ve enjoyed it then the investment was a good one. I could have used the word “spend,” but that had a consumption element that I wanted to avoid. Thanks, Craig.

I read somewhere that it takes writing a million words to become expert. Apparently, you are an expert four times over. 🙂

A very apt Johnku. I agree that time flies, John. I think it has supersonic-sound-barrier-breaking wings.
I like that Twiggy has stairs — and learned to use them. I got some for a cat once, and he’d have nothing to do with them. But I think they were mostly too light weight. TGIF hugs!

Lucy has a bad hip so she uses them as well. Thanks, Teagan

I remember you mentioning her arthritis, and wondered if they were big enough for her to feel confident. It’s great that she learned to use them. By the way, that is a truly beautiful portrait of Twiggy.

A woman and I who both in line at the grocery store this morning were commenting on how did it get to be mid-February already! Time seems to have sped up and I’m not the only one feeling that way.
I hope you have a lovely week-end!
The pups are adorable! Hope they didn’t get in trouble for the romp of the couch. 😉😃

My Grammarly knocks itself off now and again so I will never see numbers like yours! Woot!
As for your Haiku.. Must each moment be spent wisely? I think there must be some unwise choices mixed in, now and again, just to keep things balanced…
