“Hey, Twiggy. Come see the new rug.”
“I’m busy now.”
“What are you doing?”
“Dad left the dishwasher open, and I’m checking it out. Be right there.”
“Okay. I’m here. Where are you?”
“Over at the dishwasher looking for you.”
“Man, you are a hard one to keep on the radar.”
“Been here the whole time.”
“Yeah, sure, Little potato. I call this move my step over body pin.”
“Not hard to pin a little guy, Lucy. Let me up, and I’ll show you something.”
“What’s that called?”
“Stealth stalking. The panther lays in wait for its prey.”
“Then pounces on the unsuspecting big ox.”
“Hey. Who you calling a big ox?”
“It’s just a game, Lucy.”
“Of course it is. Had you fooled.”
“Are you coming back?”
“After I graze the pasture Little One.”
“Brother.”
The place is looking really good. Glad to see the puppers are having fun too.

I laughed at that basket of toys. In the midst of all that gray and white, it’s almost the most colorful thing in the room, but not quite: that pair of pups you have are much more colorful, despite their white coats.

What you didn’t see are the toys strewn all over the floor as well. Thanks, Linda. 😊

Dogs are rarely bored; they always find something to explore.
Of course, they only have to kill a few hours when they sleep for most of the day…

So cute! I have one of those stealthy panthers at my house, also – strikes fear in the hearts of birds everywhere (in his imagination, anyway).

Still chuckling! Now, I’ve got a new way of saying, I gotta take a ‘leak’! “Excuse me, folks, but I must go graze the pasture!” Beautiful! ♥

I hadn’t realized that from your pictures. We have two different types, here [tiles and wall-to-wall carpeting] and in Karnes City [tiles and (the original) woo.

Tiles are easy to clean. That’s what we like about them. We have area rugs in the living room and in the den. Nothing yet in KC.

Everything looks so CLEAN, John! I don’t know how you manage to do that with two dogs in the house. Oh, wait, they don’t have long, shedding furs like Dallas does!!
