“Hey Little One, Mom wants us to come out and take a picture with our stockings.”
“Gee, Lucy. Why didn’t she do this yesterday at Christmas?
“I think with all the excitement, everyone forgot.”
“Yeah, the folks are like that.”
“How about a ruckus first, Lucy?”
“I could go for that.”
“Whoa. What was that?”
“The call of the wild Little Potato. It’s Mom.”
“Lucy, what do they want us to do?”
” In all my years, I could never figure out what ‘smile” means.”
“Well, I’ll give my best super cute look.”
“Maybe you will save both of us.”
“I just love this candy cane toy.”
“I know you’ve been playing with it for a day.”
“I see you like your Santa toy.”
“Yes, I do, and I would put that ‘wounded panther’ look back where you found it.”
There’s nothing better than a little after Christmas “ruckus.” 🙂 I think you might have next years Christmas card, John. So sweet! xo

Ha-ha-ha! Impressive, dear John! Lucy looks so exhausted with the Christmas stuff, while Twiggy, as a member of the new generation, is full of hope & cheerfulness! Bravo!

Almost a bit of sibling rivalry going there. Good day-after-Christmas story, John.

When it comes to toys there two do have their rivalry. Thanks, GP.

Wounded panther look is a very good description. At least Lucy tried to smile.

I can’t believe you got them to pose so adorably with their stockings. I suspect there might have been a treat or two involved, but however you did it, the result is perfect. It occurred to me that a “little ruckus” could give another meaning to Boxing Day.

Hahahaha. Gloves and all. No treats were harmed making this photo. Thanks, Linda.

Lucy and Twiggy are adorable, even if they don’t know exactly how to smile. On the other hand, if their tails are wagging…
Glad to see Santa brought the kids some toys and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.

Even dogs have to be taught to share. Does it come naturally to any species?

I think it does not. Lucy is pretty good about sharing. Twiggy has a lot to learn. Thanks, Eilene.
