Thursday – A Little Personal – New Year’s Day

Twiggy and Lucy were faced with a decision. Do we continue our routine in spite of the fact that it is cold and overcast? There is one photo that sums up the path chosen. Oh yes, those are my feet.

Lucy and Twiggy

We hope your New Year’s Day was just as exciting.

    1. There was only one missing. The producer had a couch to herself.

Ahhh, they chose wisely – for warmth and love. Nothing quite like cuddling with dad! 🙂

  3. Laughing…that was much the scene for most of the day at our house, too… Happy New Year, John.

  4. Physically, I had a very relaxing day, but my brain is going through hoops at the moment, trying to figure out the best way forward! It’s a great pity that brain exercise doesn’t help you to lose weight…

  5. I’m sure those two worked hard to earn the rest!

Had a different Jan 1st as we’ve never attended a New Year’s Day party. Interesting … 12 people from different aspect of the hosts’ life were invited for an afternoon dinner … and most of us (guests) didn’t know each other. We had a wonderful time – and so did others!

  9. That looks like a fine way to welcome the new year. Our pup would fit right in, John. My legs are pillows. It seems yours are an entire bed for Twiggy.

    1. So true. I couldn’t get up for about two hours. So I watched the Alabama/Michigan game. The MSU alum in me had hoped Michigan would teach Sabin something. Didn’t happen.

  10. There was a lot of that going on, although I did find a new place for a walk, and a friend and I discovered a brand new, very nice coffee shop. Mmmmm… muffins!

    1. M-muffins? Oh, man. My weakness.A new place to walk is a treasure too. (Not like muffins though.)

  14. If it’s hard for the dogs to decide whether to go out when it’s cold and overcast, what about the poor humans that have to take them out in all weathers? We have to make that same decision on more days than not – today being (yet another) case in point.
