“Okay, Dad. it’s raining. What are we supposed to do?”
“I think you have enough to entertain yourselves Little One.”
“You gotta be kidding. Like how?”
“Follow me, and I’ll show you.”
“Okay, so what am I looking at?”
“A pile of toys, two Bennie Bones, and a chew thingy.”
“Alright, so I’ll choose Flamingo. Happy now?”
“The boss has given you the look, Little One.”
“The look? What’s the look?”
“It’s what his face does when he thinks you should take care of yourself.”
“I would be outside running in the yard if I took care of myself.”
“Yeah, but it’s raining, and you know how you hate the rain.”
“Yeah, I do hate it. Makes my paws all wet, and then I’m told to quit licking my paws.”
“Your life is a volume of tragedy, Little One.”
“Hey, I have an idea. How about a game of soccer or as the rest of the world says, football.”
“That could work. I suppose.”
“So here is Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona ready to take on Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester.”
“Where do you get this stuff?”
“Someone sent Dad a subscription to Sports Illustrated. Messi outmaneuvers the fatter De Bruyne and sends the ball downfield.”
“You crack me up, Twiggy. You really do. DeBruyne outruns the slower Messi returns the ball and SCORES.”
Lucy has the right idea…on a rainy day, just sleep. I hope Twiggy gets some sunshine today. Happy Thursday!

She is for sure. She is sitting in front of me now. She has had dinner, gone out, played with toys and is complaining about who knows what. Hahahahaha

They do. We only let them have 1/4 at a time so the ones pictured are the current 25%

It seems Twiggy will never have “enough” toys. She wants Lucy to play with her. Poor Lucy. There goes the afternoon nap. Happy Thursday, John. 😀 — Suzanne

We did have some good rain Tuesday night [.8″] and also some little rain yesterday Unfortunately, though, we had had some new windows put in on Tuesday and the insulation/caulking had not been done everywhere, so a little moisture got into our walls. We hope it was really just a little only. By now everything has been sealed properly.
LikeLiked by 1 person
That is too bad, but it probabily wasn’t that much. Now that they are sealed you’ll be okay. If it was a lot you will see it on the sills or on the floor.
LikeLiked by 1 person
I don’t think it was really bad – just some moisture which will completely dry out once the weather gets warmer. There’s nothing to be seen inside the house on the dry wall. But we were really lucky that we didn’t have a downpour with high winds.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Pit

Twiggy’s a handful even for Lucy! Ha, ha. Twiggy sure loves to throw shade at Lucy’s robust figure. 😉 I’d like to see that look you gave her. 🙂

Twiggy is always barbing Lucy’s shape. Of course Lucy is a great specimen of her breed and Twiggy tries to offset her size with her mouth. Lucy does not fall for the body shaming attempts. 😁 Thanks, Vashti.
