Tuesday – Anything Possible – Kreative Kue #258 by Keith Channing

In Keith’s words.

“Using this photo (below) as inspiration, write a short story, flash fiction, scene, poem; anything, really; even just a caption for the photograph. Either put it (or a link to it) in a comment or email it to me at keithchanning@gmail.com before 6pm next Sunday (if you aren’t sure what the time is where I live, this link will tell you). If you post it on your own blog or site, a link to this page would be appreciated, but please do also mention it in a comment here.

Go on. You know you want to. Let your creativity and imagination soar. I shall display the entries next Monday.”

  1. I saw a stand-off there, too. I think it’s the guy in the orange top that suggests it,
For background, it was taken at the Agra Fort, where Emperor Shah Jahan was kept under house arrest by his third son Aurangzeb and spent the last year of his life viewing the Taj Mahal from across the river Jamuna.

LOL. I’d hate to get into one of those fights. I’d join your character and leave the scene. Writers have an endless supply of words and they are great at making up a few! 😀

    1. You know how those word battles go. Everyone is reluctant to cast the first word.

    1. I left a message on your post about my comments disappearing. I wonder if you see them ever.

      1. John I am sure that if I ever see them I should would wonder how I manage to find out. Word Press can be a magical thing. And when it works as advertised it is even spiffier ! I go through a nightly ritual to add tags to my post. It only takes one chicken sacrificial and multiple tries to administer tags. And other than this reply I do not see a comment. Then again it could be me looking in the wrong place.

      2. I think it has been about six posts that I made what I consider excellent comments and poof they are gone. The likes remain but comments not so much.

      3. That must be incredibly frustrating. Sounds similar to what Dan has said in the past. Some days WP does not want us to comment. Grrrr.

  10. I hate to show my ignorance here, but I had to look up “dishdasha,” to see what it was. What a crazy word. Great use of the prompt. It made me grin.
