Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Lucy Outside

So what do you think, little one? A game of follow the leader?”

“Not sure, Lucy. Is the grass wet?”

Nope all dry. That 3 inches of rain are all soaked in. Come on down.”

“Give me a minute.”

“What’s the problem, Little One?”

“No problem. I just haven’t done my Yoga yet today.”

“Running is good exercise. We could run around the yard.”

“Mmmm. Let me do a few moves.”

Views of the Neighborhood

“Down dog. Ahhh, this feels good.”

“You kill me, Twiggy.”

“I don’t see why. Everyone should do their Yogi.”

“That is not what kills me.”

“We have this beautiful yard, and sometimes it’s like pulling teeth to get you out into it.”

“A girl has to be careful, Lucy.”

“Careful of what?”

“Well, of getting dirty for one thing. Maybe breaking a nail for another.”

“You are a real putz. You know that?”

“Yes, but you still love me.”

“True, Little one. Let’s go in a beg a treat.”

  1. Feels like this is a twist on the norm. Usually it’s Twiggy urging Lucy to be active.

  4. Twiggy is a smart girl…one risks a muscle pull if not sufficiently warmed up before engaging in rigorous exercise. 😂

  9. Your grass sure is looking good. Actually, it looks ready to be rolled in; I’m surprised Twiggy’s not taking advantage of it.

    1. Lucy is more the grass roller. Twiggy likes the rug in the living room for her rolling activities. Thaks, Linda.

  17. So cute!! Dot loves to do her yoga moves as well. And she broke a nail the other day. It was ugly and we had to take her to the vet so she agrees with Twiggy. A girl can´t be too careful.

  27. Twiggy has something – the stretching and easing in… however, she does have to let go of the fear of dirt and broken nails. You miss out on all the fun otherwise! 😉
