Friday JohnKu – AKA – TGIF

“Twiggy. You still after that Squirrel?”
“I figured Friday would be a good time to catch it.”
“I can see that plan is going well.”

Another Friday is here and that means the weekend is a mere eight hours away. Oh happy day.

This week has been quite busy with odds and ends. I have begun thinking about the sequal to Eternal Road and have a couple of plot points in mind. You have to woder about what kind of circumstance could possibly bring two souls who are happily spending their eternal time as they envisioned, together again?  You have to believe it would be something major. Well it is. Before I spill the whole story let me just say, “Workin on it.”

Halloween is sneaking up on us for sure. If you have followed the Views of the Neighborhood you know we have been taking tours and looking at Halloween decorations. Well this week is the last look since Halloween is on a Saturday and by Sunday when Views is posted it will be old news.

Reviews for Eternal Road continue to arrive. I’m so grateful for them and loved that the fact that all of the readers enjoyed the book.  This makes the job of an author so rewarding and certainly makes me feel good.

The 99¢ price on Kindle ends on November 1st here is a link if you want to take a look.

Today’s JohnKu talks about feeling good about what you are doing. I hope you all have a super weekend.

  2. It’s probably time we all felt better, but what to change? There’s enough of that going on already!

    1. To change how we look at things. To look for the positive in challenging situations. To notice the bird singing its heart out for us. Small stuff like that. 🤗

      1. If some of the big stuff we have to look at would change, just a little, would help I think!

      2. You are so right. I always think of the David and Goliath story when the big stuff gets overwhelming. Maybe just a cup of tea can be the stone. 😁

      1. With squirrels & deer, dear John! Thank you! Same to you! Take the most of these 48 hours! 🙂 You know I suspect that Twiggy loves so passionately squirrels & deer as, probably, she dreams to become one…at least in her new life. By the way, have you ever thought to write a book about Lucy & Twiggy? For children & for adults 🙂 They deserve it!

  6. Feeling good is more of a challenge than people realize. Don’t think we out nearly as much of a priority on our mental health in this society.

    1. I think that’s why I mention it. There is so much negative crap out there that the first line of defense has to be within ourselves. and not give in to it. Thanks, Charles. 😊

      1. It’s definitely a challenge. Add in that you have people who think they’re helping by being negative, which they call realistic. Surprised 99% of the population doesn’t have a mental illness.

      2. Negative is not a good thing realistic or not. Thank you, Charles
