Tuesday – Anything Possible – More Lights of the Season

Since Keith Channing is taking a break, I thought it would be fun to put up some more festive lights. These are all homes in the neighborhood. I wish I could have saved these for another Views tour but next week will be after Christmas and we will have had enough by then. (My guess) We are not taking a bus so you can just sit back and relax. I’ll bring them to you.

Some may recognize this house from Halloween. They do a big job this time of year too.

This display is of Santa’s wagon being pulled by a longhorn cow.

Here is another view. That Merry Christmas sign is special

a quick shot of a couple of houses all decorated.

Here is a house with UT Longhorn and A&M Aggy members.  Their was a big rivalry but the last time the two teams played was in 2011. UT invited the Aggies to play in 2021 but were turned down.

A house with lights and deer.

Looks like the reindeer is taking a header but Frosty and Santa are still with it.

The morning after tells a different tale.

This lighted cactus and candy cane display is in the middle of a lot all by itself.

Trees and shrubs.

The total look here is festive.

Frosty, Snoopy, Woodstock all wishing us a happy holiday.

Major shrub lights and some red wrapped trees.

  1. Splendid environment, my dear John, especially the Morning Santa & his night Deer. I wonder what your local deer think of that party? 😁😂😂

Beautiful! The Creek entrance is amazing with the Merry Christmas welcome and Santa and his bighorn reindeer. Your neighborhood must delight folks from all over. Thank you for sharing this delightful Christmas adventure. 😊

  4. Very cool. I’m noticing more lights than inflatables this year. Though there are still tons of both.

  6. A wonderful collection of the season. I love the rival snowmen. Definite shame that a great rivalry is no longer played. Surely no egos were involved in that decision.

    1. Well, A&M got tired of being beaten. Congrats to your Bengels. They looked sharp.

      1. Aggies gave up too soon. Thanks on the Bengals. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut. As bad as they are, they don’t quit.

  11. I live the photo where it looks like Santa was hitting the eggnog pretty hard. These are great, John. I’ve never seen Santa’s sleigh being pulled by a cow. It’s looks like you’re ready for a nice Christmas.

    1. That is one residence. The Producer and I were driving around and the gates were open. We thought it was a development so we pulled in. There are ponds, rivers, several buildings but it is all one family. Lucky we weren’t arrested.

  23. Absolutely fabulous John and thank you for sharing. Next door have put up a few lights but I think the Christmas spirit here has been dampened by the latest restrictions, especially as the pubs that don’t serve food have been closed for nearly 9 months. Have a wonderful Christmas..♥

    1. I am sorry for the restrictions. I remember all the good times in the pubs when I visited London. As a yank I was quite an curiosity. (Much like you in Houston)

Very nice, John! I loved the rivalry snowmen for Texas and Texas A&M. You Texans take your football seriously. My son is a college football coach, but their season was postponed until March. Who knows if that will happen?
