Cute cutouts of a bunny and chick.

The Producer and I scoured the neighborhood, and these were the only decorations we could find. So sit back and enjoy the music and have way more to eat. Thanks for coming, and I hope you all have a great week.

Happy Easter, John, and thank you for the neighborhood jaunt. Our neighborhood is rather quiet in terms of decorations. And as for feasts, I suspect you have no competition. Have a great day! 😊

  5. Happy Easter, John. Did I see pancakes on the menu? Gotta get me some.

We have a few decorations around here, but it’s been so windy, they have not held up well.

  6. Ohmygosh, that spread is awesome, John! I got to ‘Uncle Nicky’s Plate’ and didn’t need to go any further, well, except maybe for one of those fabulous drinks. Have *got* to visit Juniper next time we’re in town. Thanks for the neighborhood jaunt…always fun. Happy Easter!

  12. A Happy Easter to you, John, too.
Maybe we’ll walk around the neighbourhood here in north Waco some time later, and see what Easter looks like here. It’s quite a mixed neighboourhood, btw, from posh mansions to decrepit housing. We’re staying at a cottage in 2 acres of a kind of a park and we like it a lot.
    Enjoy your day,

    1. Waco is a mixed kind of town for sure. My daughter graduated from Baylor University so we got to see a little of the town in four years

      1. We really like(d) the walks along the Brazos. But there’s one real disappointment: the historic bridge is being renovated and nearly all of it is covered in plastic tarps! 😦

      2. Well it does happen.

      3. We’ll just have to come back in a year.
Btw, the same happened when I took Mary to Berlin for the first time: the Brandenburg Gate was covered with tarps.

      4. Now that would be a real tragedy.

  20. There weren’t any Easter decorations in our neighborhood this year for some reason. Thanks for sharing yours – it is the quality, not quantity, that counts. And the food choices were plentiful! Beautiful day here. Happy Easter to you and The Producer. Have a good week!

  30. Easter Monday greetings from Rockport/Fulton! I came down to check out Mother Nature’s decorations — birds and flowers! They’re not as cute as the ones you showed us, but they’re pretty. I could have used your buffet, though. There’s nothing wrong with my usual travel food, but it’s built more for nutrition than enjoyment!
