“Hey, Lucy. Do you want to play with Eel?
“Gee, I was just getting ready for a nap.”
“Yeah, but look how much fun we can have.”
“Call the boss; maybe he’ll play with you.”
“Ah, Dad. Let’s do the tug-o-war.”
“Sure, Anything you want.”
“That’s the ticket. Now drag me.”
“You sure your teeth can stand it.”
“Hey, Lucy. Look at me. Being dragged.”
“Let me just imagine it, Little one.”
“I’m coming back by you. Want to play too.”
“Goodness. What part of nap didn’t you get?”
“Okay then. I let go.”
“Sure your teeth are okay?”
“They are fine. Why do you ask?”
“Well, being hauled around with your whole weight on them.”
“You calling me fat?”
“No, I’m not. Just concerned about your teeth. Now remove yourself from my face.”
“I think she was calling me fat.”
“Was not.”
“What do you think?”
“Who are you talking to? The boss left.”
“My friends, Lucy. My friends.”
Lots of fun! I love those doggy steps! Hope you and the girls have a lovely Thursday, John 🙂

Never a dull minute with these two, though I think Lucy may have taken the term ‘power nap’ to new heights. You’d have to work hard to ignore Twiggy. 😂

Lucy does a great job of ignoring Twiggy at times. Thanks, Lori.

My Lola does a wonderful job ‘stonewalling’ her big goofy Lab brother Beau, too. She has a certain “Don’t even think about it,” gaze she casts that usually stops him dead in his tracks. 11.5 lbs. conquers 75 lbs…a dynamic illustration of mind over matter. 🤣

That is not surprising. Twiggy tries the Alpha move but one Lucy paw and it ends quickly. Thaks for sharing, Lori.

Always amazed at the strength of a dog’s teeth. The tug-o-war with their teeth seems so violent at times.

Yes it does. When you pat Twiggy’s tummy whie pulling her she lets out with the most ferocious growl. 😁

I’m sure Lucy only meant you have a solid, very muscled little body Twiggy. After all, with a name like Twiggy you can’t be overweight can you?

Twiggy, you’re just the right size, but there is a reason some people call you ‘little potato.’

I would say, no, but you are aligned with the striped carpet and that makes you appear thin. Don’t go horizontal because horizontal lines make you appear, eh, eh, bigger. That’s why I never wear a shirt with a circular design. You’re welcome!

As for fat? Surely not! Her adoring public is rushing to her defense!!

I foresee some nagging little kitten, Omelette vs older catm Kat happening in my house. That little brat is already pushing her way into Kat’s bubble. She’s not afraid of being growled nor hissed
