Smorgasbord Short Stories – Authors in the Sun – #Blackmail- The Millennial by John W. Howell

I am at Sally G. Cronin’s place today. She is featuring short stories and graciously allowed me to tell one. A visit to Sally is always special. Head over and check out how you can benefit from the many ways Sally promotes indie authors.

When I worked on radio in the south of Spain I presented and recorded four series of Authors in the Sun showcasing local writers and their short stories. I ran a series here on the blog in 2017 which was much enjoyed and showed off the skills of some amazing writers.

I would love to share your short stories here too this summer and details of how you can participate is at the end of the post.

She said this was the day to talk, and the damn phone always rings twice and then to voicemail. He took it into the Apple Store, and they said they found nothing wrong. So today, he’s not taking chances. He will see the bright light…

Great story, John. It would be fun to hear from your daughters, always a father’s treasure. 😊

    1. They have a few stories I’m sure. They both were under contract while in college. The terms and conditions dictated their performance for which they were being paid. They both have had a laugh or two comparing notes on how they got away with murder.

    1. Well I was a push over and have no regrets. I remember when the youngest was about two, I said to the Producer, “Let’s just give her anything she asks for.” She never asked for much but whatever it was she got it. She is a terrific, confident 32 year old.
