  4. That is one awful disease!!
Count me in on the short ribs, but I’d best wait until after I walk to eat them. (I’m slow enough without the added weight! 😬 )

  5. Nice work for a great cause. Ilk try the short rib. Looked like a comfortable day for a walk. I used a Joe Cocker sound track in a sales presentation (You Are So Beautiful) and the team loved it. More importantly, the sales manager, a.k.a. the boss, did, too. Secured my spot at least for the next year…

I lost my grandma a few years ago to this horrible, sad, soul-stealing disease. I’m glad people are kind enough to put in the time and energy to raise funds for research and pray, one day, they find a cure.

      2. I think the first step is figuring out the cause.

        Liked by 1 person

      3. I think they know the cause just not how to stop it from happening… Or am I out in left field?

        Liked by 1 person

      4. What’s the cause?

        Liked by 1 person

      5. You know… there seems to be no one official cause, you are right (I had to look it up). Most scientists feel it’s a combination of genetics, lifestyle and environmental factors. There seems to be no one thing to blame (at this point) so yeah, let us continue to raise funds and do what we can to keep our brains healthy!

      6. I think there has to be one source of this disease. Why else do some get it and others don’t. Is it all DNA?

        Liked by 1 person

      7. Good question and hopefully the scientists figure it out. And are able to do something about it.

  29. A great cause and the grub you offer up . . I kept going back and forth between the short rib Benedict and the brisket hash before settling on the Korean steak and eggs bowl. Which would require a brisk walk afterwards, so yanno . it’s win meeting grub meeting walk meeting a HUGE win for all involved.
