Views of the Neighborhood – Concert Time

Today we are going to a concert. It is about time we do some cultural things along with eating and drinking. The Band of the Hills which is a community band for all ages is having a concert at the Lakeway activity center. We are being catered  Dim Sum by Wu Chow in Austin and our entertainment will be Thelonis Monk playing Duke Ellington’s Caravan.

  12. As a musician, I find it wonderful that so many are attending concerts once again! Music speaks to us in ways that words often can’t, and having an audience appreciate the efforts that went into making the concert beautiful (and safe) is worthwhile. Thanks for the outing, John!

  27. Can I just get chicken & broccoli with a bowl of hot/spicy soup. I try not to be fussy, just particular. Oh, and water. I think I’m going to like the ‘country’ set. By the way, what a great community. Is it a retirement community or just a community with lots of spirits, er, spirit?
