    1. We don’t have a lot of hummers. They pass through very quickly. I set out feeders when they returned and none were touched so who knows?

  13. Your garden is so pretty, John, and I can’t believe you know the names of every plant. I seem to forget that the instant I plant. And what a gorgeous magnolia blossom. Very different that here in Oregon (what I’ve seen). Enjoy your colorful yard. Gotta love June.

  26. I love magnolias, John. We have a lovely tree in our garden and it is now blooming twice a year because of all the rain. A great post to kick of my week.

    1. I’m glad you liked it. This magnolia was a present from The Producer to celebrate my 80th birthday. I do love it.

  27. Wow, John! I loved your flowers but thought, “Wow! Look at that magnolia!” I don’t know if I’ve seen one so large here in Utah.

  28. Your flowers and herbs look so healthy! My usual nursery was flattened by the tornado back in December, so I wasn’t able to get the flowers I normally do. With Lowe’s, usually only half of them survive, and I don’t think my basil has grown an inch. Hoping it takes off soon. Have a great week, John!

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Basil needs lots of shade. Too much sun and it stops growing.

  29. Whoa…it might not impress Shaina much but it sure does me! First, can I say (in between mouthfuls of chewing on that FABULOUS menu), the garden tour was AWESOME. If the power of suggestion holds true, I am intoxicated by what I imagine is that magnolia. What a lovely respite outdoors. Thanks for the tour. P.S. I sorta, kinda picked up the crumbs from my pockets that ‘may’ have been left on the bus. 😉
