Color Keep by Zeke Raney and Elizabeth Farrell adds a bit of fantasy to the abode.
This is not a piece of art but something to do at the park.

A lovey piece titled Ram by Cheryl Latimer
Full Bloom by Jennifer Chenoweth as seen from underneith the work.
Earth Mother by Yuliya Lanina is a haunting piece.
Source by Jonathan Sanders can leave you with questions.
Shining Apollo by Jennifer Chenoweth is made of metal but has a wood like appearence.
A Peaceful Place A Community Project
Last but not least we have a symbor of Texas. Legation Longhorn by Marla Ripperda.
I hope you enjoyed the tour and now it is time to eat and listen to Maroon 5. Have a great week.
These are such fun! I particularly like “Tree Hugger.”

A fun one made out of wood. I hope the tree enjoyed the hug.

Some amazing works of art. Thanks for Maroon 5 too. Amazing performers. As a side note, a friend just returned from watching Mick Jager and the Rolling Stones perform in Hyde Park. Imagine at almost 80 years old, he still has the moves.

They were all rather interesting, but I think my favorite is either Tree Hugger or the Park’s chess board!

Both Bee Cave and Lakeway have art committees, so there is a lot of public art around.

Public art is big in Sarasota, too, John. I believe it really enriches a community….

Art has a way of telling a story that gives us pause. How wonderful to have the display in your area! I particularly like the Ram, quite bewitching. Happy Sunday to you and yours, John.

The photo was taken with the Ram in full sunlight. It gave it an alabaster like appearance. Thank you, Gwen.

You know me — that armadillo is my fav. Great detail, and great good humor. Maybe that one can stay out of the way of cars.

Yes, let’s hope so. Thanks, Linda. I knew you would like that one.

Another wonderful tour, John! The armadillo in sneakers and the Texas longhorn are my faves, though I was definitely intrigued by some of the other works, too. Thanks so much for sharing once again. I really look forward to stopping by here on Sundays to see what’s going on in your part of the world. 😀 ❤

They are hard to beat, Deborah. I was telling Gwen that the Ram was hit by sunlight when I took the photo and had the look of alabaster. Very cool. 😊

John, that was an extremely unique menu. 😀 But hey — if there are biscuits, I’m in. And where there’s Jimmy Dean, there are usually biscuits.
I love this sculpture tour. An armadillo wearing tennis shoes? Fang would love it. Now that I think about it, he might have had a hand in that menu. Great post. Hugs on the wing!

I’m sure Fang was involved somehow. Thanks, Teagan.

Wow! Earth Mother really gets your attention. These are great, John. I like quite a few and I think I would enjoy walking around – maybe in the fall, when it’s a little cooler.
It was a toss up between the Vegetable Falafel and the Chicken Fried Beef Tenderloin and Cream Gravy with Eggs, Tater Tot Hash. Falafel lost, but tell my wife it was close.

I will let her know that had the Falafel not sold out that’s what you ordered and would have had. You had to settle for that nasty chicken fried tenderloin and tater tot hash.

I love the Adirondack chairs with the wood fence nestled around them — such pretty colors! And the chess board is great, too. I’m not fond of the Earth Mother — she looks angry, but perhaps that was the artist’s intention, considering the things we’ve done to her!

I think so, Debbie.

I play a little chess, and I’ve always wanted to try one of those large sets. What material are the pieces?. They have to be heavy enough not to blow ever but easy enough to move.
LikeLiked by 1 person
I did not touch them. Next time I will. I don’t think they are plastic. If so they might be weighted.

I like Tree Hugger and the Armadillo. Thank you for the tour, John. You have a large population of bats? 😳

Yes we have one of the largest population in the US. They are in downtown Austin. Google “Austin Bats” and read about them.

Teriffic perception of reality, dear John! Thank you! Armadillo is the best. When I look at him I ask myself: if we,humans, become beasts or it is pretty on the contrary. 🙂
LikeLiked by 1 person
Hmmm. You pose a deep philosophical question Maria. I think at times the beasts become more human.
