Some amazing works of art. Thanks for Maroon 5 too. Amazing performers. As a side note, a friend just returned from watching Mick Jager and the Rolling Stones perform in Hyde Park. Imagine at almost 80 years old, he still has the moves.

Another wonderful tour, John! The armadillo in sneakers and the Texas longhorn are my faves, though I was definitely intrigued by some of the other works, too. Thanks so much for sharing once again. John, that was an extremely unique menu. 😀 But hey — if there are biscuits, I’m in. And where there’s Jimmy Dean, there are usually biscuits.
I love this sculpture tour. An armadillo wearing tennis shoes? Fang would love it. Now that I think about it, he might have had a hand in that menu. Great post. Hugs on the wing!

Wow! Earth Mother really gets your attention. These are great, John. I like quite a few and I think I would enjoy walking around – maybe in the fall, when it’s a little cooler.
It was a toss up between the Vegetable Falafel and the Chicken Fried Beef Tenderloin and Cream Gravy with Eggs, Tater Tot Hash. Falafel lost, but tell my wife it was close.

I will let her know that had the Falafel not sold out that’s what you ordered and would have had. You had to settle for that nasty chicken fried tenderloin and tater tot hash.

I love the Adirondack chairs with the wood fence nestled around them — such pretty colors! And the chess board is great, too. I’m not fond of the Earth Mother — she looks angry, but perhaps that was the artist’s intention, considering the things we’ve done to her!

I play a little chess, and I’ve always wanted to try one of those large sets. What material are the pieces?. They have to be heavy enough not to blow ever but easy enough to move.

Yes we have one of the largest population in the US. They are in downtown Austin. Google “Austin Bats” and read about them.
