Rave Reviews Book Club chooses various authors to be honored with an extra push on Tuesdays. This week’s honoree is my friend and fellow broadcaster, Gwen Plano.
Here is a little about Gwen
She serves as Host of BEHIND THE PEN BlogTalkRadio Show and is Co-Host of the Aspire to Inspire radio show . She lives in Branson, MO, where her husband and she enjoy live theater and musical performances in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. After spending their working years in California and the greater New York area, They decided to take the leap and settle in the heartland of the United States. It is no surprise that their seven children remain on either coastline. Their children and ten grandchildren are the biggest reason for their travels throughout the year!
Her book, LETTING GO INTO PERFECT LOVE, is a memoir that covers an expanse of time, as well as a breadth of experiences both challenging and divine. Its sequel hides in stacks of papers and post-it notes, awaiting Gwen’s attention. Perhaps this year…

If you don’t know who Linzé Brandon is (and who doesn’t) you should know her blog regularly features authors and their books. Her site is titled Butterfly on a Broomstick with a subtitle of Linzé Brandon’s blog about books, writing and creative life of a writer married to a photographer.
Linzé Brandon is the pen name of a South African project manager who taught herself to read before she went to school. This started a lifelong love affair with books.
She still loves to read – anything considered romance – but also enjoys amateur sleuth and extreme science fiction books. When she is not working or writing, she likes to do cross stitch embroidery, fly fishing, painting abstracts in mixed media, archery and watching Manchester United play. She is captain of a team of soccer enthusiasts on Superbru, and love the interplay with the guys during the season.
Her favorite time of year is NaNoWriMo, simply because she loves the challenge and the camaraderie of her fellow local and online Wrimos.
