Wednesday on this blog is usually a day to celebrate hump day with a story. Today will be a little different. Today I want to thank all of you who follow this blog and please allow me to be a little humble and grateful.
I started my blog a year ago with the idea of having an outlet to express my love for fiction. I began the posts by highlighting books and authors I admire. It soon became apparent by the roar of the crickets, recounting things already well-known had limited appeal. I decided to change the direction and began to put more of myself into the words. The title of the blog is still Fiction Favorites, but you have given me the latitude to take that theme to wherever it goes and I thank you.
You have also put up with my title convention which was developed in honor of the story Forest Gump where everything is possible and everything predictable according to the laws of nature. I know by some comments you have wondered what the hell the title thing is all about. Now you know.
WordPress wanted me to know that I have over five-hundred followers. I want you to know I appreciate each and every one of you. I wish I could comment more frequently, but know I do read your posts quite often.
So I hear the music welling up in the background which means it is time to get off this soapbox and get back to work. Thanks again. Have a great rest of the week.
