I am so excited. I am not sure how to describe the feeling when you look in your mailbox or on-line and get the notice that your book has been reviewed and the review is posted. The first thought is, they found me out. Fraud is as fraud does, Sir. Then as you open the e-mail and actually look on the Amazon site and see five golden stars blazing off the page, it finally sinks in. Someone likes my book. It doesn’t matter that a lot like it right now, it is one person out there who has validated the months of lonely work, weeks of excruciating editing and overcoming the fact your whole creative soul is laid bare for all to see. (sort of like the naked in church dream)
I have two five star reviews posted yesterday. One by Readers’ Favorite saying:
“My GRL by John W. Howell is fast-paced thriller that shows how your life can be turned upside down in the blink of an eye. . . It is a well-written story that kept me glued, page after page.” Readers’ Favorite Five Stars – Reviewed by Faridah Nassozi
The other on Amazon:
“My GRL is a book that has everything: it’s a contemporary story with major twists, tension, thrills, and some tender character development. It’s a fast read and great entertainment and I give it five stars.” Bethany Drew on Amazon.
Humble is as Humble Does

Congratulations, I am very happy for you and I am sure you will get even more of them! 🙂

There is some kind of glitch and the publisher is not responding right now. Was supposed to be up on Monday. 😦

What Pamela said. Shipping to South Africa is $20 for the print book. That’s more than the book. And no South African online retailer seems to be stocking it.

That will change over time. I hope it will be soon. The Kindle version was supposed to be up Monday. I really don’t know what the problem is.

Don’t give me lip, young man, or I’ll send you to your room. That threat really doesn’t work these days since kids have so many toys in the room. Better punishment would be sending a kid to the parent’s room.

These reviews are excellent and unsurprising, at least to fans of your blog. Now if only your publisher would get on the ball….. 😉

Did you hit the “I want a Kindle” button on the book site? Might help.
