Sunday – Fifty- Two Views of the Gulf

2015-06-13 08.09.26

Today’s view shows the effect of a high tide on the beach. The water came up to where it looks wet. You can see some residual water out where the kids are playing (don’t know whose kids). The sky is a little overcast and we are expecting more rain. You can see the yellow and purple morning glories to the right on the dune.

Last week’s photo shows where the tide normally stops.

Now this does look inviting, am just finishing my Beach Reads blog tour, your beach looks just the place to settle down with a good book.

That’s a significant difference. The upper photo looks much more serious.

Have to laugh at the folks in tents who need to make a run for it.

Wow… that really is a big difference in the tide. And early birds out playing in the water. Definitely a big contrast from last week. Have a beautiful new week, John. Hugs!

Looks like blustery winds are moving in. Love to see kids enjoying the water. Lots more action this week, John. 🙂

I find it so interesting that you’re able to take the same angle and turn it into a completely different photo, just by varying the time of day, tide, and vegetation! Well done, John! I so love those morning glories, by the way — reminds me of a long-ago editor of mine (long story!)

Yes, the water is rising from what I’m seeing from friends via facebook.
