Sunday – Fifty-Two Views of the Gulf

IMG_0830

Here is a rather fuzzy view this week.  The sun played with the camera. Since the days are shorter the sun is laying lower in the East and I did not accommodate that eventuality. As you can see there is a lovely RV on the beach and you can’t hear the generator but let me assure you it must have been purchased a Wal-Mart given the noise. On the right, you can see a little blue dot. It is not a flower but a sun spot on the lens of the camera. Outside of that the footprints show a busy day yesterday and little off the Gulf wind. The wind has been coming from the North and the footprints are protected by the little sand barriers that form. I’ll try harder next week for a clearer shot. (promise)

Thanks for enduring the obnoxious Walmart generator, to provide us with the beautiful photo, John. It’s nice to see the sun. We haven’t seen it in the last several days. Have a great day!

Wow… it seems like a huge difference in day-length from last week. What will you do, John? Just move your picture-snap time out an hour or so? Night shots would be interesting too, but I’m sure that would be difficult. At any rate I really like the way the sunlight is coming in from the corner and casting a glow on the world. Mega hugs!

Thanks Teagan. I’m not really sure what to do. Maybe hope for clouds. Have a great day.

Gotta love those roaring Wal-Mart generators. Heard a lot of those during the big storm a few years ago. Not much fun at night.

Yes. It’s like a truck idling.

Or somebody constantly trying to rev up a lawnmower?

The key point is that it is an assault on the ears. Wonder how people live with those things.

I don’t get it John. If the noise bothers you, think of what it must be like in the tin can. “Hey honey, let’s go to the beach. Don’t worry, I’ll keep the cheap engine running all night to drown out the sound of the waves.”

I know. Most put them in the back of a pickup for further misery.

Gee, how do folks stand that sort of constant din?? That said, I’m pretty fascinated by the little blue dot!!

I knew that I was still grumbling about the quality. 🙂
