  5. You’ve created a lovely oasis, John (and The Producer, no doubt). That spread sounds too delicious! And Shania? Any time.

  6. Your garden is so pretty, John, and I can’t believe you know the names of every plant. I seem to forget that the instant I plant. And what a gorgeous magnolia blossom. Very different that here in Oregon (what I’ve seen). Enjoy your colorful yard. Gotta love June.

  7. Somebody’s been very busy … and your garden looks amazing! I remember moss rose from when I lived in Texas. I don’t think I’ve ever seen angel wing begonia, though. Your hibiscus and magnolia are stunning — I can close my eyes and imagine the smell of the magnolia (yum!)

  8. Amazing plants, dear John! Perfect for the Twiggy Resort. Do you use any of them to make tinctures? My congratulations! A home tour is always the best. 😊😊😊🍤🍻

  9. Your flowers and herbs look so healthy! My usual nursery was flattened by the tornado back in December, so I wasn’t able to get the flowers I normally do. With Lowe’s, usually only half of them survive, and I don’t think my basil has grown an inch. Hoping it takes off soon. Have a great week, John!

  10. Whoa…it might not impress Shaina much but it sure does me! First, can I say (in between mouthfuls of chewing on that FABULOUS menu), the garden tour was AWESOME. If the power of suggestion holds true, I am intoxicated by what I imagine is that magnolia. What a lovely respite outdoors. Thanks for the tour. P.S. I sorta, kinda picked up the crumbs from my pockets that ‘may’ have been left on the bus. 😉

    1. The hibiscus is beautiful. It had six blooms on it the day before I took the photo. Little imp knew I wanted a shot so she wrapped them and just put out one. The magnolia was a gift from the Producer for my 80th birthday. It is lovely. 😊

  12. BEAUTIFUL!
Although I’m thinking it was a short bus ride….very short…. very, very short.
I didn’t even finish my squash pizza.
Note: It does not keep well in the freezer!
