Top Ten Things Not to Do on 9/11
All ten things are the same today. Do not forget the loss of innocent lives due to the brutal attack on our country by followers of Osma Bin Laden.

So much was lost on that day. All the innocent souls who were just going about their days. All the heroes who ran to the dangers. And the idea that we were safe, that was lost too and I don’t think it will ever return. So no, we must never forget.
Twenty two years removed, and it still makes me ache. I guess it always will.

Your story was the best. It brought all the emotions of the day right to the surface. No matter how many years have passed those emotions will never fade.

I can still remember the events of that morning and the following days. The skies were suddenly filled with silence and the news was not. And the moment I remember it and think we need to be vigilant against all enemies both foreign and domestic the word domestic moves to the forefront. The death toll for 9/11 is somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000. The annual death toll of children in the United States from gun violence was estimated to be just under that number for the year 2021*. And while I will not forget 9 /11 the silence of the present moment is becoming deafening. Because those numbers come estimated from a non governmental source. We are dealing with domestic enemies and they are here for our children.

I can’t add anything further to the comments listed here except to say: We must remain united against all that would do us and our loved ones harm. And that includes our neighbors and our countrymen and women. Not to mention those that reach out to us for help. We or our ancestors were strangers in this land once upon a time.
