“He certainly is. Purebred too.”
“What’s his name?”
“Scruffy.”
“Aw, that’s a cute name. Where did you get him?”
“A friend of mine’s pet had him.”
“Does he live far away?”
“Who?”
“Your friend.”
“Yeah, a little far, why?”
“I’ve been thinking of getting a puppy. How far?”
“234 million miles.”
“Huh?”
“Yeah, he lives on Mars. He sends his puppies here to feed.”
“Feed? What do they eat?”
“Glad you asked. Can you stay for dinner?”

How could a sweet little puppy be a monster? I think his Martian parents are cheapskates and send the pup here because we humans will cuddle and feed him. 😉
