Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy is a Little Slow

“Hey, Twiggy. What’s going on?”

“Just chillin’ here.”

“Here’s your ball. You want to play?”

“I’m not sure. It’s one of those lazy days.”

“Yeah, I think we all have them.”

“I’m wondering what I hear in the kitchen?”

“I think you might be hearing something. There’s nothing there.”

“If I put my nose in the air I think I smell something.”

“I’m sure your imagination is getting carried away.”

“You think so. Okay I’ll take your word for it.”

“What are you doing now?”

“I thought I hear that pesky squirrel in the yard.”

“No there’s no one in the yard.”

“Okay I’m getting down to check out the ball.”

“Well what do you think?”

“Essence of bacon which is good.”

“You want to play then?”

“You know, I think I will wait until after dinner.”

Essence of bacon is always good. But I can understand waiting until after dinner. Those lazy days claim all of us at one point or another. Sending her belly rubs. Thanks for the smiles, John. Have a great day.

Yeah a couple of strips should put a spring in your step. Wait, make that five strips, hen fruit, hash browns, and sour dough toast. 😁

I’m stunned to learn Twiggy has lazy days … even if she is recuperating! I’m surprised she didn’t take her ball and its bacon scent onto the couch for some cuddle time.

It was there from the night before but she has decided to take it easy. Her walks are getting longer so I think she gets a little tired. Thanks, Frank.

The recovery is 12 weeks. So by the end of January she should be back to chasing Wildebeests.

Well, we all have those days, don’t we. She climbs the sofa, I see. That that mean she’s improving as expected?

We dropped the sofas to the floor by removing the legs. Plus she uses the wedges most of the time. So the hop is five inches.

Twiggy needs some downtime after the last month! But a bacon-scented anything is a sure-fired way to get her going. We had those bacon-flavored treats for our dogs. Belly rubs to her!
