Twiggy
“It’s only Wednesday? Man, do I need a Friday.”

It is Wednesday Story Day again. Last week we found ourselves back to Micki Lee’s place where we were witnesses to a full-scale flirt being perpetrated by Micki and Andrew. Make no mistake, these two are old enough to be grandparents so we better watch out since anything can happen. We also were there when Micki called up Gloria, and like she was on a 100 Mbps download, she was right there. Let’s hope Larry can hold it together. Time to get back there. Don’t forget your bottled water.

“Gloria, Larry asked me to get in contact with you since he and his colleague Andrew have run into a bit of a snag on the Sandusky case.”

“Hold on, Micki. I can speak for myself.”

“Okay, Larry go ahead.”

“Larry, dear. Before you start aren’t you going to introduce your handsome sidekick.”

“Come on Gloria. Did you have to join Micki in such foolishness.”

“I think Micki and Andrew might have some attraction to each other. Right, Micki?”

“Well, he is a fine cut of a man.”

“You two know Andrew is sitting right here don’t you?”

“We know darling. The problem is Andrew is in a state of suspended animation and can’t see or hear us.”

“What? You mean after this session he won’t know what went on?”

“That’s right Dearest. He might as well be a chair in the room for all he’ll know.”

“Where is he right now?”

“As you can see, he is sitting here with us, but for all practical purposes he could in Dubuque, Iowa.”

“So, whatever I learn here, I’ll have a tough time convincing Andrew that it is true.”

“I’m so sorry for that, love. You see there are rules. We spirits can’t just have anyone witnessing our good works. Such a thing is only for the privileged.”

“As much as I’m flattered, I wish Andrew could be here as well.”

“We are wasting time, detective. You better ask Gloria what you want to know.”

“Okay, Micki. Here’s the deal, Gloria.”

“I know the deal, Larry. You’ve got a body that looks like suicide and only one suspect if, in fact, it’s not. Forget Louis. He is not your killer. You also are very right not to think Sandusky took his own life. He was murdered.”

“Why?”

“Well now. You have hit on the million-dollar question. The why is all about the bass. All about the bass no treble, Larry.”

“You mean the motive?”

“Exactly. Think of why someone would want Sandusky out of the way.”

“Money?”

“Bass.”

“Sex?”

“Treble.”

“So, for some reason whoever killed Sandusky did it for money.”

“My love. You are definitely getting sharper in your old age.”

“You are mocking me, aren’t you.”

“Only slightly my dear. Just slightly.”

“One more question. Who did it.?”

“Oh, my poor Larry. One. If I told you this story would be over. Two. You and your hunky partner need to figure it out. Chase the money, my dear.”

“Gloria wait.”

“She’s gone, Larry.”

“So, when does the séance begin.”

“Ah Andrew, I’m afraid while you were in Dubuque, we completed the contact.”

“What? Dubuque? I don’t get it.”

“Maybe someday, Andrew. Would you care to stay for some tea? I’m sure Larry has to be running along.”

Wednesday Story Day – AKA – Hump Day

Lucy, Twiggy, and Bailey
“I tried to wake Lucy and Bailey but they told me to come back on Friday”

It is Wednesday Story Day again. Last week Andrew made a surprise suggestion that he and Larry consult with the fortune-teller to see if they can discover additional suspects. Andrew seems to have bought into the fact that Gloria (Larry’s deceased wife) might be a good source of information. I see Larry and Andrew going into the fortune teller’s shop now. We need to go there.

“My goodness, Larry. You didn’t tell me the shop was on this side of town.”

“Would it have made a difference?”

“No, but I could have brought something to protect myself.”

“Hello? You are aware that detectives carry weapons, right?”

“Yes, of course. I am more comfortable handling my own defense methods.”

“You know, Andrew, sometimes you are a pain.”

“Been told that before, Larry.”

“Why look at the two handsome men who have ventured into my shop.”

“Hello, Ms. Lee.”

“Hi, Larry. Please call me Micki. Who is this handsome, senior statesman with you?”

“My name is Andrew, and I must say you have brightened an old man’s day.”

“You know that in China, mature men are revered for their knowledge.”

‘So, I’ve heard. Unfortunately, we are not in China.”

“In my shop, you might as well be,”

“Excuse me.”

“Yes, Larry?”

“If you two are quite finished with this whatever it is you are doing, I would like to reach Gloria.”

“Well, Andrew. Looks like the adult has arrived. I guess I had better get to work.”

“I did enjoy the interlude, Ms. Lee.”

“Maybe after I finish with old grumpy face here, you and I could step out for tea. Better yet, old grumpy face can step out, and I could show you my ancient Chinese art collection along with some tea.”

“I’m sure your collection is quite lovely.”

“I can see you know the right things to say, Andrew. Now follow me to my back room. You too, Larry.”

“Right behind you, Micki.”

“So, have a seat and let me see if Gloria is in the mood to talk. Close your eyes, Larry. Concentrate. Do you remember how we contacted Gloria last time?”

“Yes, I sang the G-L-O-R-I-A song. Should I do that again.”

“No. Just think of the song in your head. Gloria can hear it.”

“Even if it is in his head, he is still off-key.”

“Oh my God. Gloria is that you?”

“Yes, Larry. I’m here.”

“I’m going to cry again.”

“Please, Larry. You don’t need to do that. I’m fine.”

“He might be crying for himself, Gloria. He misses you so much.”

“I know that, Micki. It does make me sad though.”

“You two know I’m here, right?”

“Yes, Larry, dear. We know.”

Wednesday Story Day – AKA – Hump Day

“Wake me Friday, Little Potato.”

It is Wednesday Story Day again, and last week we were a witness to Louis and Larry discussing who had the knowledge to operate the equipment that killed Sandusky. The conversation ended with a declaration by Louis that there were only two people who knew how the machine worked. One was Louis and the other Sandusky. Let’s get back to the police station since Larry is having a discussion with Andrew. Maybe Andrew has another perspective.

“So, you say the only two that know how to work that wave machine are Louis and Sandusky himself?”

“According to Louis, those are the only ones he knows about.”

“Okay so let’s take a look at the facts.”

“What facts?”

“Aren’t you the one who keeps saying to look for motive?”

“My wife told me that.”

“Yeah, let’s not get into that too much. I’ll keep believing that you keep saying it.”

“Okay then. What about the motive?”

“Take Sandusky for instance.”

“What about Sandusky?”

“What motive would he have for killing himself?”

“I think you have me. I can’t think of one.”

“Right you are too. So, we can rule him out.”

“Agreed.”

“This leaves Louis.”

“You know, as hard as I want to believe Louis killed Sandusky, I just can’t get there.”

“What would be his motive?”

“Would be like killing his banker. Doesn’t make sense.”

“So, we agree that Louis is not the one either.”

“I think that is the only logical conclusion. Where does that leave us?”

“With a lot of hard work to turn up another suspect.”

“One who knows how to operate the machine and who has the motive to eliminate Sandusky.”

“Think your wife can help?”

“Wow, Andrew you sure took a one-eighty.”

“Desperate times call for desperate measures. We are clearly out of options.”

“I guess I could go back to a fortune-teller who put me in touch with Ruth and see if she can help.”

“I don’t think we have any other options.”

“Man, Andrew you amaze me.”

“Just call me Renaissance man.”

“That fits. Let’s go.”

Wednesday Story Day – AKA – Hump Day

“Take it easy Little Potato. It is only Wednesday. I set the alarm for Friday.”

It is Wednesday Story Day again and last week we witnessed Larry and Louis come to an agreement over the information that Louis might have on either the motive or possible suspects in the killing of Sandusky. Let’s go to the police station once more as Larry hands Louis that cup of coffee.

“Okay, Louis. Here’s your cup of coffee.”

“Thanks, detective.”

“You can call me Larry since I’m almost positive we are going to become friends.”

“How old is this coffee anyway?”

“I made it this morning.”

“Well, six hours and I’m surprised it is still liquid.”

“Come on Louis. We are not here to talk about coffee. Tell me what you know about the Sandusky killing.”

“As I told you before, Larry, I have no knowledge of the killing. I showed up at work and there he was in the tank.”

“Describe what you saw.”

“I had stopped at the coffee shop across the street and looked over at the plant. There were some lights on and I thought that pretty unusual. By the way, the coffee shop had drinkable coffee.”

“Never mind the coffee. What did you see next?”

“I took my coffee and went into the plant. I passed through the office and went right to the tank.”

“Why did you go right to the tank?”

“There was a light on above the tank and I was sure I turned them all off when I left the previous evening.”

“Okay. Then what?”

“I saw Sandusky more or less floating in the tank.”

“What do you mean, ‘more or less.’”

“Well, he looked like he was doing a jellyfish float. His head was below water, but his back had broken the surface.”

“What did you do then.”

“I grabbed the phone and called 911.”

“There was a phone in the room with the tank.”

“Yeah. It was a wall phone and intercom.”

“Okay, then what?”

“I wanted to make sure he wasn’t still alive and maybe needed help, so I went closer and that’s when I saw the terminal connected to him.”

“How connected?”

“There is an alligator clip which you can connect the terminal to almost anything. It was clipped to his ear.”

“Ear? What the hell?”

“Makes sense.”

“How does it make sense?”

“From where I stood it looked like he had all his clothes on. The ear or hand would be the only clean connections.”

“Okay, I see that. Did you reach in to help him?”

“No way. I needed to turn off the current first. I went to the breaker box and that was when I discovered the current was already turned off.”

“Does this mean anything?”

“To me, it signals whoever did Sandusky in knew if the current kept flowing it would in all probability have cooked him. As it was it only blew up his heart.”

“Who had that kind of knowledge?”

“Sandusky did for sure. I don’t know. Maybe he told someone.”

“Maybe you did him in Louis.”

“Let’s not go backwards, detective. I can tell you this. Whoever did the deed really understood the equipment. I was able to look at the settings later and not only was the power turned off, but the person had calibrated the exact amount of wave to pulverize the heart.”

“Who knows how to do that?”

“Guess.”

“Sandusky?”

“Yup.”

“Who else?”

“Me.”

Wednesday Story Day – AKA – Hump Day

“Say what you want. I’m waiting right here for Friday.”

It is Wednesday Story Day time again and last week Larry and Andrew made a decision to see if they can get Louis to open up and perhaps confess to offing Sandusky. They also reminded themselves (or maybe Gloria stepped in) to look for other motives and not just focus on the possibility of Louis getting greedy. So let’s get back to the police station and go with Larry into the interrogation room.

“So, Louis. How are you feeling today?”

“Other than being held here against my will, I feel great.”

“You can leave anytime, Louis. Can I get you a cup of coffee?”

“No thanks. That crankcase oil you cops call coffee is not to my taste.”

“Water then.”

“No, sir. I don’t want anything from you.”

“You sound a little resentful, Louis.”

“I think the word is pissed, detective.”

“Why so, Louis?”

“You haul me down to this station and make like I have something to hide. I told you everything I know about Sandusky and it is like you don’t believe me.”

“Why is that important?”

“You have to be kidding me. You are the police. You can arrest me anytime for anything.”

“That’s not true Louis. We need to have probable cause to arrest you.”

“And?”

“We have nothing on you except you invented a procedure that killed a man. Might be a stretch but I think I could make a case for involuntary manslaughter.”

“So, charge me then.”

“I really don’t want to take taxpayer time and money chasing a charge that some fancy lawyer could convince a judge to give you community service as a sentence. I would rather get some information from you to find the real killer. You can afford a fancy lawyer, right?”

“I don’t have any money for a lawyer. What kind of information are you looking for anyway?”

“I want to know who would want Sandusky dead?”

“Oh, is that all. You have a Boston phone directory?”

“Um yeah.”

“Open any page and there are probably three or four on that page who would want Sandusky dead.”

“You know I’m not one who likes games much.”

“I’m just trying to say there are a whole lot of people who are better off as a result of Sandusky’s death.”

“You kill him?”

“Hell no.”

“Know who did?”

“I have a couple of suspicions, yes.”

“Talk to me.”

“What do I get out of fingering some possibilities?”

“I’ll forget about the manslaughter charge if I can bring a murder one against someone else.”

“In writing?”

“Hell no.”

“I guess I’ll have to trust you then.”

“I guess so.”

“I’ll have that coffee now.”

Wednesday Story Day – AKA – Hump Day

Is it Friday yet? No? Come back when it is, please.

It is Wednesday Story Day again, and last week we discovered through Larry’s astute (?) questioning that Louis was hired by Sandusky to experiment in finding a way to remove organs from the body without a visible entry. The reason Sandusky gave for the research was to facilitate organ transplant. Of course, getting an organ back into the patient was an open question. Larry invited Louis to go downtown for further questioning. Louis agreed, and they all left for police headquarters. I see that Andrew and Larry are in Larry’s office. Let’s pop over there and find out what they are talking about.

“So you think the story about the reason for the research by Sandusky was a ruse, Andrew?”

“A ruse. I mean how stupid would it be to explode organs and then cut someone open and put in a new one. My god the mess in there alone would be impossible to clean adequately.”

“What does that mean?”

“Think of a chicken exploding in the microwave. Do you ever get the little pieces cleaned up?”

“Well, I would stay with it until I did.”

“Showing a certain anal retentiveness, I would say. In a body, the old tissue would be in every recess. After the new organ is in the old residual pieces of tissue would rot, and no doubt cause an infection.”

“A little different from a microwave.”

“Right. I used that example so you would get the degree of difficulty.”

“I understand. So why did Sandusky use a ruse to get the experiments done.”

“I can only imagine he didn’t want old Louis calling the cops.”

“You don’t think Louis couldn’t figure out the downside of the procedure.”

“I’m guessing he did. Fifty thousand dollars is a lot of money.”

“To keep one’s mouth shut.”

“Yes, for sure. You also have to wonder how Sandusky became one of the victims.”

“What do you think happened.”

“I could paint a scenario where Louis got a little greedy and asked Sandusky for more money. He and Sandusky got into a spat which ended with Sandusky in the vibration pool hooked up to a negative lead.”

“So it is good we have Louis here for questioning.”

“Don’t know the best way to make him break down and confess.”

“I’m the detective leave it to me. We also need to think of possibilities as well.”

“Like getting some coffee?”

“Good suggestion but other motives for Sandusky to bite the terminal so to speak.”

“I knew that. Coffee first. Then motives.”

Wednesday Story Day – AKA – Hump Day

“Its gotta be Friday Somewhere”

It is Wednesday Story Day again. Last week we all stood around while the anchor was boiling in the descaling solution. We learned that Louis the tech had met Sandusky ten years ago. I think we all jumped to the conclusion that Louis may know a lot about what happened back then. Let’s get back since I see Larry doing his best Colombo imitation of subtleness in his questions.

“So did you kill Sandusky?”

“What? What are you talking about?”

“Sandusky was killed ten years ago, and someone who knew a lot about conduction and pulverizing things was responsible. Sound like anyone you know?”

“Hold on detective. I said I met Sandusky. I don’t know anything about his death. I read about it in the paper like everyone else.”

“Funny you should remember his name right away.”

“I could never forget Sandusky.”

“Why’s that?”

“He gave me fifty thousand dollars that’s why.”

“Okay now, this is getting good. Why did he do that?”

“He wanted me to perfect a process he was working on.”

“What process?”

“Removing organs from people without having to cut them open.”

“You have got to be kidding me.”

“No detective I’m serious.”

“What was he going to do with the process.”

“Well, that’s the funny part.”

“Go on.”

“He said it was going to be a medical breakthrough on transplants. His process removes the organ with no cutting.”

“How does the transplanted organ get in the body?”

“I asked him the same question.”

“And?”

“He told me it was top-secret. If he told me he would have to kill me.”

“He was serious then?”

“Let’s just say I didn’t detect that he was joking. You ever meet Sandusky?”

“No, not while he was alive.”

“He had the coldest eyes I’ve ever seen. Gave you the chills.”

“But you took the fifty thousand.”

“Was a no-brainer. I already had the process developed. I even think he knew that.”

“So, you told him how to do it?”

“Yup. Even signed away my rights.”

“You practice on a body?”

“Yeah, several.”

“OMG.”

“They were research cadavers. I borrowed them from the University. You can check with the Dean. It was all on the up and up.”

“So, tell me. Did the process include pulverizing the organ?”

“That is how it worked. The organ exploded inside.”

“We need to go downtown and have a little more discussion.”

“Fine by me. I have nothing to hide. Your anchor is done, and I would have told you what I know without the subterfuge.”

“Hear that Andrew?”

“Yeah, I heard. But do I believe it?”

Wednesday Story Day – AKA – Hump day

“Lucy. You going to finish that post?
“What day is it?”
“Wednesday.”
“I’ve got till Friday. Wake me then.”

It is Wednesday Story Day again, and last week, Andrew and Larry met Louis the tech. He gave them an overview of how the electronic cleaner worked and now it is time to try it out. I see they have put the anchor in the vat. We should get there to see how the thing works.

“So, I have attached the negative terminal to the anchor. The water and citric acid will act as the positive. When the forces come together, the scale should drop off.”

“How long will it take to finish?”

“Oh, I would say less than an hour.”

“Can you put more than one item in at a time?”

“Sure you can, but you have to amp up the power.”

“So a huge item will take more power?”

“Yes, Andrew. The bigger or more numerous, the more power.”

“What is the biggest thing you have ever done?”

“Probably car parts.”

“Car parts?”

“Yeah, this thing does a number on rust. You put a fender in there, and it comes out like it was just stamped out at the factory.”

“I never thought of that. So why is this place bankrupt. I would think there would be a lot of business.”

“Not sure, Andrew. All I know is the owner disappeared, and there was no one to mind the store until the bank stepped in.”

“Disappeared?”

“Yeah. He was at work one day and then gone the next.”

“No family?”

“Nope, his life was this business. That’s what makes it so odd.”

“When did this happen?”

“About six months ago, Larry. I tried to do what I could but I’m not a businessman, so it was fruitless.”

“I don’t know too many who could go from operator to company savior, Louis. Are you going to start this thing?”

“Yeah. It is just one setting and a push of the button. There you go. Underway.”

“Wow, look at that bubbling. It looks like the anchor is getting a good scrubbing.”

“Louis, one question.”

“Yes, Andrew.”

“What would happen if someone fell into the vat?”

“Odd question. But let me say for the first hour, nothing. The negative pole would have to be attached to do any immediate harm. After an hour, like I said before, the citric acid would start to react with the skin.”

“So if there was any reaction by attaching the pole what would it be?”

“I don’t get where you are going with this, Andrew. You have been all over the place with the talk of human interaction with this system. Why don’t you just come out and tell me what you want to know?”

“Very well. Can a human be destroyed with this system?”

“Yes. Completely.”

“Any way internal organs can be destroyed without harming the body?”

“I would think so. Would all depend on power level and electrode placement.”

“Electrode placement?”

“Yes, the electrode would need to be on the inside of the body.”

“That would leave evidence of the intrusion.”

“Not if the probe was fine enough. It would be a tiny hole through the epidermis and into the organ.”

“Do you have experience with this procedure.”

“No. Of course not. We are talking hypothetically.”

“Yeah, of course, we are. Very interesting Louis.  How long before our anchor is done?”

“Do you really care about the anchor?”

“No. You ever heard the name, Sandusky?”

“Sandusky?”

“Yeah.”

“I met him about ten years ago.”

“Oh? Do tell?”

Wednesday Story Day – AKA – Hump Day

“You Two want to get up?
“What day is it?”
“Wednesday.”
“Come back Friday please.”

It is Wednesday Story Day again, and last week Andrew and Larry arrived at Gault Industries and met with Ned Dixon. Looking around it was obvious to our pair that the plant had seen better days. Ned explained that he worked for the bank and called Louis the tech. We learned Louis has worked for Gault for twelve years so if anything funny went on ten years ago, he should know about it or was the perpetrator of the funny business. I see Louis has arrived so let’s head back to the plant. You might want to grab a bottle of water before you go. I personally would not touch anything out of those faucets.

“Here’s Louis. Louis meet Larry and Andrew. They have a deep diving business and are looking for some major descaling of artifacts brought up from the sea.”

“Nice to meet you, gentlemen. I didn’t get the name of your company.”

“Ah, Neptune Enterprises. We just formed the business, so you probably never heard of us.”

“Yeah, you’re right. I never have.”

“Well anyway. Louis, these two want to see if we have the capability to handle their work.”

“You want to clean stuff from the ocean, right?”

“That’s right, Louis. Some of the items may have been below water for hundreds of years.”

“You will need a pretty strong current to get through those old layers. Yet you don’t want to damage the original piece. Am I on target uh Andrew isn’t it?”

“Yes, it’s Andrew. Nice memory Louis. You are precisely on target. These are valuable artifacts, and we need to make sure the system can clean them without damage. To use an example, it would be like removing someone’s appendix without hurting the body.”

“Yeah, that’s an interesting example. But to ease your mind we have a system that can do as you say.”

“Remove an appendix?”

“No. Cleaning the item without damage.”

“Excuse me, Louis.”

“Yes Larry.”

“I am curious as to how this equipment works.”

“I can imagine. Why don’t we go to the machine and I’ll show you? Did you bring something that needs cleaning?”

“Yes, we brought an anchor.”

“Okay. Go get it.”

“Do you have a dolly or something?”

“Is it big?”

“No just heavy.”

“For heaven’s sake, Larry. Just go get it. We are wasting time.”

“Oh yes, boss. I’ll be right back.”

“Louis maybe you could give him a hand.”

“Sorry Mr. D but I have a bad back. Besides, he has returned.”

“Okay, where to and I hope not far.”

“It is in the next room. Follow me through this door.”

“OMG want is that smell?”

“It is citric acid, Andrew. It is part of the solution to take the foreign matter off of things.”

“Smells like grapefruit.”

“Not surprised since it is made from citrus. I can’t smell it any more. Working around the stuff for a while does that. How about you Mr. D? You smell it?”

“Makes my eyes water, Louis. If you don’t mind I’m going to wait outside.”

“A question for you Louis.”

“Yes, Andrew.”

“Is this citric acid toxic to skin?”

“Well over time it would be.”

“How much time?”

“Let’s say an hour.”

“So, if someone were in this solution for an hour it would alter their skin.”

“More like a burn. Where are you going with this?”

“Just curious. I don’t want our objects ruined if the acid is too toxic. Doesn’t seem like it is.”

“You sound like a medical man with all these body questions and examples.”

“No. Just want to protect my client’s investments. So how does this work?”

“You put the item in the tank. The diodes attached to the item carries a current that begins to vibrate the material on the object until it falls off. The citric acid acts like a cleanser to get between layers.”

“Sounds like a denture bath.”

“Now that is the first example that makes any sense at all.”

“Hey, Louis.”

“Yes, Larry.”

“Can we put the anchor in there and see if it works?”

Wednesday Story Day – AKA – Hump Day

Lucy, Bailey, Twiggy
“Anyone know what day it is?”
“Yup, Wednesday.”
“Wake me on Friday.”

It is Wednesday Story Day again, and last week Andrew got a call from a firm that had the equipment that could be used to pulverize a heart. A meeting was set up for 3:00 but Andrew had a feeling the guy on the phone didn’t know too much about the process. Andrew felt the guy was a banker who led him to the conclusion that the company was bankrupt. Larry and Andrew went off to have some lunch and then visit the company. I see they are out front of what looks like a warehouse. Larry is hauling an anchor which is the item of subterfuge to get a demonstration of the machine capabilities. We better get over there.

“Jumping gee Josaphat this thing is heavy.”

“Yeah, I wish I could help, but my back is killing me.”

“It might also be that second bowl of chowder. Which I suspect you wouldn’t have had if you were picking up the tab.”

“I explained that I forgot my wallet. I’ll get the next one.”

“Seems I hear that a lot.”

“I mean it.”

“Yeah, okay. Look at this building. Looks like something out of the forties. Did Dixon say where to meet him?”

“No. I suppose we might as well go inside. Follow me.”

“Slow down. Hold the door will ya.”

“Wow look at this place. Hello anyone here?”

“I think there must be a coat of rust on everything. I’m going to leave this anchor by the door.”

“Gentlemen. Welcome to Gault Industries.”

“Are you Mr. Dixon?”

“I sure am. You can call me Ned.”

“Okay, Ned. My name is Andrew, and this is Larry. As we outlined in our ad, we were wondering if we could take a look at your descaling operation and see if your firm might have the capability to do some work for us.”

“We would be delighted to help you in any way we can. Your ad mentioned an anchor. Are you all in the salvage business?”

“Why yes, we are. We have a deep diving business, and we will need a safe way to clean some of the items we bring up. In fact, we brought the anchor to test the equipment.”

“I have to tell you that I’m not very familiar with the equipment. I work for the bank that holds the mortgage on this building.”

“Let me guess. The owners haven’t been keeping up with their payments.’

“Correct. But we still have some qualified people who can work with you to give you what you need.”

“Is there anyone around who can do a demo today?”

“Andrew is it? Yes, there is a technician here today. I’ll call him as soon as we are ready.”

“And if we decide to use this company, how do we know the work will get done?”

“You have the assurance of the First Source Bank and Trust.”

“Okay good enough for me. Call the technician. We should get this demo done.”

“You won’t be sorry. Hold on I need to give him a call.”

“In the meantime, Larry why don’t you fetch the anchor.”

“In the meantime, Andrew, I’m sure the tech will figure out how to do that.”

“Okay, gentlemen. The tech will be here shortly.”

“How long has this guy been working here.”

“Louis has been here twelve years, Larry.”

“Twelve years? Excellent.”
