A Wonderful Review By Phillp McCollum

beat

I was blown away today by the wonderful review Phil McCollum wrote on My GRL. He took a path which I never thought a reader would take. He actually placed the author in the story and followed along as if he was on the journey as well. You can read the review HERE, but I just want to thank Phil for seeing in the story the amount of living which went through my head as I wrote it. When a reader recognizes the flow and realism the author tried to convey, it is a thrill which cannot be matched. Phil said “My GRL is a thriller with a soul.” I have to say Phillip McCollum is a writer’s writer with a soul.

Any criticism which could rise out of this kind of work cannot bring down the care and thoughtfulness Phil put into his review. I am very much humbled by his words and appreciate every one of them.

You should visit Phil and check out his progress on his writing. He is brave enough to put a progress chart on his blog. I know of few people with this kind of courage. He also has posts which deliver on the promise of his blog’s sub heading: A writer seeking employment as a Gentleman of Elegant Leisure.

I’m glad you liked the review John. My GRL really was a pleasure to read and think about. As I mentioned, looking forward to seeing what comes down the pipe from you next.

Great John! I have a meeting my husband is rushing me to join him at, but as soon as I get back I will take a look. There is nothing like knowing a reader really got it 🙂 Heart and soul 🙂
