Wednesday Story Day – Sometimes Known as Hump Day

Wednesday story day Yay! Hmmm sounds like a pretty poor poem doesn’t it? It is that time of the week to celebrate the fact that we just might make it to Friday. Wait! Don’t look back, something may be gaining on you. (Satchel Page said that). This week’s story is a little background (speaking of back) on why Billy became a bank robber. The title is  All About Me.

All About Me. By John W. Howell © 2014

“Billy tell me about why you’ve decided to become a bank robber.’

“Well, Frank it all goes back to my mother.”

“Your mother?”

“Yup. She encouraged me to apply myself in school and to have goals.”

“Goals? What kind of goals?”

“You know. Stuff like finish school. Get a job. Raise a family.”

“So what happened?”

“What do you mean? What happened? I finished school.”

“And the rest?”

“Hey, I still have time.”

“So back to my original question. Why rob banks?”

“Well, I looked back on the jobs I had and quite honestly I really didn’t like the medical field.”

“Medical field. What are you talking about?”

“You know, self-medication. meth, coke, uppers.”

“Medical field. You crack me up.”

“So bank work seems easier and the money’s good.”

“But you stink at it.”

“But it is still better than the other jobs I have had.”

“Better for you maybe.”

“Frank I swear just a couple of more jobs and I think I’ll have it down.”

“How about the shotgun?”

“I sold it.”

“Y-You what?”

“I didn’t think it was right for me.”

“Right Billy. So what is right a Hello Kitty edition AK47?”

“I hadn’t thought of that one.”

“I’m sure Billy. I’m sure.”

Billy seems more of a SpongeBob Desert Eagle to me. This is making me wonder when was the last time someone pulled off a big bank heist and got away with it.

Don’t even think they could rob a piggy bank . . . that they own.

Just makes me wonder what kind of school Billy finished 😉 And a Hello Kitty AK 47 … really, they make such things?! It is so *not* a toy … sigh.

Billy could star in one of those “stupid criminal” stories. It’s only Wednesday…sigh…

Frank is not very nice so don’t get too close. (of course if you like bad boys like Drill I’m not surprised)

Mmmm…I’m a total fool for the bad boys. And “Decker” wasn’t my first love, but he was in the first three. He was a gentleman, though, & it made me crazy! Lol

Oh, what a world we live in where such a thing is possible. Right out of a catalogue, you say? Sigh.

Very good observation. Never thought of that before but worth a follow up post. Thanks.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. These two need h.e.l.p. What kind you ask? These two need a lobotomy or their appendix removed. 😮

      I like the appendix option.

I guess Billy can use a “Say hello to the kitty,” one-liner on his next robbery attempt.

Frank and Billy are like the dark versions of Abbot and Costello, except Frank and Billy scare me! 🙂

I was thinking just like the guy in front of me —- Joe’s brother Jack …. that is this is like Abbott and Costello. Besides, Billy seems to be playing Frank in this one.

I think Billy is trying to be like Frank. Not a good thing
