Sunday – Fifty-Two Views of the Gulf

It occurred to me that I have mislabeled this feature. Instead of fifty-two views of the Gulf it should be called one view of the Gulf fifty-two times. You’ll forgive me, right? I thought so.

The photo above is the fourth picture of the Gulf taken from the dune walkover. It is the fourth picture taken while it is raining. While it has not rained every day for the last month, it certainly has been when the photo time comes around. Compare this to last week’s photo and you can see the rain is not hard enough to keep folks from walking on the sand.

Never mind John, I’m sure the sun will come out soon.

It’s such a beautiful spot John. I think it would take more than a little rain to keep me away. Actually, the bright sun might keep me away.

I will admit morning walks are a lot cooler. The dogs like it more.

I look forward to following along with your views of the gulf series.

My girlfriend did something similar up here on the “North Coast” with Lake Erie: http://youtu.be/5PszZpTBHpU

You kind of take what you see every day for granted (like lakes and gulfs) but when you do a project like this it opens your eyes to how much is really going on around you that you don’t notice.

    Good luck.

Interesting how there are subtle changes each time. I’m curious to see how the first and final pictures compare.

Oooo. Thant will be a good one although if I were to guess there won’t be much difference since the season will be the same.

I would guess that the sand and plant life might differ.

The sand looked too much like the week before and you thought to give it some character? 😀
