A little bit of rain is threatening. The tides are high, and there are coastal flood warnings (Not to worry happens all the time.) The daytime temps are in the mid-seventies and night in the upper 60’s. We expect a cold front to hit on Monday which will keep the daytime temperatures in the lower seventies and night could get as cold as fifty. That little black dot just above the horizon is a pelican, and the others are gulls. (and you thought your screen needed cleaning)
Last week’s photo

“As cold as 50” Hmmm, how to feel? It was 28 last night. Hope the coastal flooding isn’t a problem. We should see temps as _high_ as 50 today.

Hmmm… it seems I have some pelicans in the white frame as well. 😉
What a beautiful view to begin the day. I love to see the sun rays, and the sun breaking through the clouds like that. Wishing you a wonder-filled new week, John. Hugs to you and yours.

Much better view than what I have. First snow of the year. We only got about 4.5 inches. Areas getting lake effect snows received many more inches than here! But this morning it is only 15 degrees (feels like 5). And less than a week ago it was 60!

OMG. I can tell you I would not make it there. 47 here and I’m shivering.

The water looks rough…and cold. We were in the 20’s last night. I’m so not ready for winter. 😦

Seventies and 50s sounds just about perfect, John. Much better, in fact than the teens and low 30s we’ve got! At least the sun is shining.

Are you bragging about your beautiful temperatures there? It was thirty here today, with a high of 34. It will warm up somewhat later this week, but it was anything but warm this morning. Temps here keep bouncing back and forth and we really haven’t had a chance to acclimate.

I’m still laughing about all the pelicans on my screen. That’s what I’m calling them from now on.
We’re still warm on this side of the Gulf and running the air-conditioner. It’s 66 degrees outside, but seventy-six inside and I can’t sleep unless it’s at least 74. Yes, two degrees make a difference. I would open some windows and get some fresh air, but things start to mold over here when I do that.

I understand. We keep ours at 79. You would die.
