A little rainy. A front moved in from California bringing needed rain. The temps are expected to go into the fifties later today. The wind has caused the wave action to become a little more pronounced. Supposed to be sunny and warmer for the rest of the week. With the sun behind the clouds, the picture is much brighter.
Last week’s photo.

Wow… look at all the waves. Hey, somebody tell Moondoggie it’s time to hang ten! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEuFnF1Umc0
I envy your morning view, John. Lovely picture. Hugs!

Looks almost like tiny, white dunes or steps. Is that rust on the railings?

Yes. The rails have metal screws underneath the vinyl which are rusting. This whole walkway is going to be replaced in January.

Will this series still be going on at that time?

Awesome. That will be interesting to see. The forefront will be changing while the background will be kind of the same.

I see the Winter Texans in shorts when it’s in the 50’s and they make it colder somehow

This shot reminds me of my favourite beach in new Zealand. Being able to walk through the dunes then out into that beautiful beach must be a charm in your morning. c

Yes it is. We take a walk every morning. It starts the day in the right frame of mind. Thank you Mary.

How wonderful to be near the coast! Water soothes my soul. It has been crazy warm in Connecticut this week – up in the 60’s! It’s bizarre – but I’ll take it as I know Old Man Winter is coming!

I used to live in Darien and then Wilton. I loved Connecticut and do enjoy seeing the buildings and scenery there.

I have not spent any time in those areas – I need to pay them a visit!

We were in the 70’s this weekend, John. I was writing Christmas cards on the back patio, wearing a T-shirt. I love it, but unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.

Someday. Who knows we all may have gone to heaven and we just don’t realize it yet.

We hit the mid-60s this weekend, waaaay warmer than the low 40s that are typical for mid-December! I’m not complaining…nor am I shoveling snow, ha!!
