Dawn Nelson has featured one of my bookshelves on her “What’s On Your Shelf?” feature. Dawn is a terrific supporter of other authors, a reviewer, and fine writer as well. While there, check out her beautiful blog.

What a marvelous feature, John. Thanks for sharing it here, else I wouldn’t have met Dawn.
I understand about the book donations. I gave away so many of mine, trying to down-size for this smaller home in DC. Then when I thought I was finally moving back to the desert (but at my own expense…again) I donated almost everything else. Oh well…
Anyway, you have such a beautiful home. I loved the “before” almost as much as the “after.” Hmmm I still find it hard to choose. Really enjoyed the look at your shelves. Have a terrific Tuesday. Mega hugs!

We lived with the cluttered “writer in residence ” look for a number of years. Finally my wife decided we need to move to a different look. I must say it was better than being banished to a store room. π

Great shot, even if it is blurry. Love the little furry friend perched on the back of the sofa posing.

Yes. She was my precious Silky Terrier. Sadly over the bridge.

More or less like the fist photo but all the way across.

Great look either way! Love the way books are used to lift things up. Our book shelves are still full of books and are starting to stack up on the floor. Thanks for sharing! Glad your wife did not want to replace you.

Looks like the shelving of creative minds. Quite studious. Lovely.
