Welcome to the third edition of the neighborhood tour of Halloween decorations. Today we have hickory smoked ham, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and pecan sticky buns. The drink today is Veuve Clicquot champagne served in Baccarat flutes. I have also been asked what kind of accommodations are on the bus. We have leather reclining chairs, personal entertainment centers, a full kitchen, a full bar, A Bose Soundsystem, 300 G internet, WiFi, and restroom facilities. The bus is equipped with air suspension and can run on multi-fuel as well as full electric.
Hop aboard. We also have ZZ Top playing for our enjoyment.
Here we are with a couple of pirates. Looks like the one is getting ready to do something.
Here we have an elaborate display. Spiders on the house and Tombstones in the yard. (Not to mention the string of skulls on the wall.)
A couple of friendly ghouls.
Several things that are scattered in the yard. That big skull to the left is my favorite.
Nothing like a big orange spider and big web to welcome visitors.
More tombstones and an assortment of ghosts with a purple spider on the mailbox.
A dancing ring of ghosts and a masked ex Wal-Mart greeter.
Here are a few keep out signs. (They must know me)
A big pile of who knows what.
So that’s what it is. (Um, not sure I know any more than I did.)
That is our tour for today. I hope you enjoyed it. Stay and have some more champagne and listen to the music. I hope you have a great week.
I think the last thing is the sand worm creature from Beetlejuice.

The tours are improving the closer we get to that fateful date.
I had to crack up when you said ZZ-Top was playing today and the first picture I see is of 2 skeletons!! Or maybe they are two of the Rolling Stones that want to join in? Pirates? Oh well….

I like the idea of the Rolling Stones GP. 😁

Given that you have made a series out of it, your neighborhood has embraced Halloween decorations! 🙂

Yes, I sent out word that everyone needs to participate.

That a way, Boss.

Love the decorations!! The bus would be a great way to tour the neighbourhood. (Is there a bathroom onboard? asking for a friend)

Yes, full restroom. Double sink, walk-in shower and soaking tub. alonf with the toilet.

That is one tricked-out bus, John. I have to remember not to try to use my phone for pictures after eating one of those sticky buns. I think the inflatable is the prehistoric ancestor to the Turducken. My fav is the Walmart greeter.
Thanks for a fun and filling morning ride. The hash browns were perfect.

I’m glad to hear that about the hash browns. An old family recipe passed down from our aunt Ore-Ida. 😁

That party bus is proof that you should never judge a book by its cover.

I know. I had to explain it since some were reluctant to get on board. Of course, I didn’t go into the king sized bedroom with ensuite bathroom, jet tub, and rain shower. Folks might have thought I was being suggestive or something.

I love how your neighborhood goes all out. Love ZZ Top, and the pirates. (Probably the last Pirates to play in the World Series.) I was drawn to the old Jeep. I’ll bet that thing has stories to tell.

That Jeep has been sitting in that guy’s yard for over a year. I wonder what he intends to do with it?

That orange spider is big, but it looks friendlier than that whatchamacallit inflatable.

I agree. The whatchamacallit looks dangerous.

I’m still giggling over the ADT security signs placed next to the ghouls at the mailbox and the pirates in the doorway! Double safe, for sure. Thanks for another lovely tour, John!

A wonderful tour, John. (I have to catch up with the earlier ones!) I must say, your neighborhood does Halloween up right! And a “masked ex Wal-Mart greeter?” I nearly fell off my chair laughing at that. 😀 Sorry I missed the bus, but I sure did enjoy the tour! 😀

Sorry, you missed the bus but you did get the tour for sure. Thanks, Marcia.

What fun, John. We’ve always lived too far off the beaten track for kids to come around, and the HOA in the neighborhood where we are moving has strict rules about no decorations!

Oh my. They must be fun to deal with for sure, Noelle.

I say, dear John! It is getting darker & darker in your area. What do the deer think of these decorations?
LikeLiked by 1 person
I tried to get a photo of a deer next to a decoration but it ran off. The deer do not mind the decorations, Maria.

Who would turn down these tours, John? You’re just too generous with your food and drink. 🥂Great decorations, but I have arachnophobia, so even the fake spiders give me the creeps. 😁🕷🕸

Believe it or not, there is a “Halloween spider” that may have been the model for the one on the tour today. It really is a beauty.

With a Bose sound system and ZZ Top music, you may not be able to get me off the bus. Especially with food and drink like that.

In the UK we used to celebrate bonfire night the 5th November more but Asda from America started bringing in Halloween 🎃 dress up and gizmos and people like to party, I don’t know if there will be any celebrations here this year though we are about to go into two weeks lockdown it is rumoured. Enjoy your Halloween 👻

That tour bus is amazing! You’ve got everyone fooled too by keeping the exterior like a regular school bus.
There are graveyards with skeletons trying to claw their way out popping up in my neighborhood too!
It looks like the kids young and old are going to be having a spooktacular Halloween in your neighborhood, John.

Yes, the appearence of the bus allows for incognito travel. No one would guess it is a luxury liner in disguise. On the decorations, I think folks are going all out to counter the dismal feelings of COVID. Thanks, Deborah.
