This is a repeat of a prior year. I thought it was funny and a good use for a poor departed palm tree.
Several mail toppers in town.
From Sea to Sea decoration.
A stylish bunting on stylish home.
The ultimate topper. Armadillo, cactus, and flags.
The Lakeway Heritage Center celebrating the Fourth of July.
The Freedom Memorial is all decked out too.
Lakeway city lines all the thoroughfares with flags. This is the sculpture garden.
A close look at the plaque.
Guardian angel.
Girls with arbor rope.
Girl with Teddy bear.
Boys balancing.
Tennis boy.
I hope you have a wonderful Fourth of July celebration. Now enjoy the food and Lee Greenwood.
Happy 4th of July! Great decorations.

That sculpture garden is so cool. And the bunting, it always reminds me of fairs and important baseball games. I love how they used that palm tree as well, good stuff!
Happy Fourth of July weekend Sheriff

There are fireworks here for three days. Enough to contemplate a move to Alberta.

Lakeway celebrates in style as usual. Lee Greenwood says it best. Perhaps we can come togethr for one day to appreciate what we have even if we are divided. The palm tree and flag are a hopeful sign! Have a safe July 4th, John. Cheers!

Happy Fourth, John. Love it when a city lines its streets with Flags to remind us we’re celebrating a holiday! Some of our area cities do that, too, and it never fails to make me smile. A small gesture, I suppose, but one that speaks volumes.

Beautiful park, love the statues. The armadillo doesn’t look impressed with his bow tie, lol.

HI John, these are nice pictures. Are the statues of the children temporary for 4th of July or are they permanent?
LikeLiked by 1 person
It is a permanent installation. There are a few other sculpture placements in Lakeway.

Good to see so many decorations.
Sourdough, pastrami, chicken, biscuits – it’s hard to decide, John. I did rule out the granola and the veggie patty.
Happy 4th of July!

Very patriotic and festive. Fingers crossed—it’s been relatively quiet here after two raucous years of fireworks.

Happy belated 4th, dear John.
I watched the fireworks across the USA last night, music accentuating the spectacle.
It was brilliant. I’m still shivering from Def Leopard playing “Pour Some Sugar On Me” with the sky aglow with beauty.
The neighbourhood looks perfect!
So, the NEW BIG SUMMER SALAD sounds amazing! YUMM!!! If it’s small, I’ll have 2!
Listening to Lee… great song!
